A 34B just means a girl with a 32-34in ribcage and a two inch difference between that and her breasts. There's no real body size or weight thing there- the 34 IS the body size. It's a smaller than average size, and is equivalent to a 36A, 32C, 30D, and 28DD. The thing that's changed there is the size of the girl's torso. A 28DD, though it sounds big, isn't large at all- a petite girl with a smaller or ordinary looking chest. Many women are unaware of how the number is the size of the body, and that is what dictates the size of the cups.

Honestly, the only proper 34B I know is my cousin- she's 5'4 and 170lbs, a rather overweight girl and really it doesn't look like she has much going on up top because she has such a large torso. On a taller girl it looks more proportionate, the only healthy-ish weight 34's I know are over 5'8- they just look average size and small-ish chested.

Wearing a bra that isn't the right size can cause back and shoulder problems in your future. As well as other things.
Once your a bit older I would get measured by a bra store. But for now I'd stick with your A size. The number in your bra size is how big you are around, there's a bug difference between 28 and 34.

That's actually a pretty common size for most women so I'd say it's average. It doesn't mean you are over weight at all. Many women have broad shoulders and would not be considered overweight. If you are exceptionally tall (over 5'7), 36-38 would be pretty typical.

I know this isn't directly about pregnancy, but I do need to start thinking about buying some nursing bras. I have tried several website calculators and they all tell me I am a 34DD. Trust me this is absurd. Before I got pregnant I wore a 34C and my boobs have not grown yet, but I know they will once the milk comes in. Anyways, go to these websites and let me know if it is accurate for you. Do you have a suggestion of a website that actually seems to give true values?

I used to work in a lingerie store, and you could be surprised at the number of women who actually wear the wrong sized bra. It's possible that you require a larger size than you think-- for example, if your current bra leaves red marks on you, your boobs occasionally fall out, or the cups are not flat against your rib cage, but rather leave a space, then you may need another size.

If you are a 34 under your breasts and 5 inches bigger in the breasts, than you are indeed a 34 DD.

You want a size that fits you. Also, it is possible that their sizes are slightly off. Either way, you want your breasts to fit the bra you buy-- so trust their measurements if you are buying from them.

I would go into a maternity boutique and allow them to measure you-- they will do this for free. You want to have an accurate size and a comfortable bra. Buying in person is best so you can try it on and ensure that you are comfortable.

Ignore bra size calculators! They DON'T work! They use the usual 'add 4/5in to your under bust' and it means you get a band too big and a cup too small.
I'm really sorry, but I don't fully understand AUS bra sizing! I'll try my best.
30 is (I think) a 10 in AUS. Clearly, from the measurements you've entered, a 14 is way too big for you!
The best thing to do is to measure your under bust, and if it's an even number that's your band size. If it's an odd number add one. So, if you measure 28 under then you need a 28 band size... in the UK. For AUS, 28 is a 6, 30 is an 8, 32 is a 12, 34 a 14 etc. So, measure your under bust in inches and convert it.
Next, measure the breasts. Work out the difference between your under bust and bust. For example, if it's 28 and 34, you'd need a 28E. In AUS, that's 6E.
Check the band fits. If you can pull the band further than 5cm away from your body, it's too big and you need to go down a size. If you need to go down, for example, from a 12 to a 10, remember that you need to go up a cup size. A 10E is the same cup volume as 12DD.
Now the cups. Check for spillage, the underwire digging in etc - all signs it's too small. Look for wrinkling and gaping, too, signifying it's too big.
Remember, using measurements is very basic - it doesn't determine your size and should only be used as a starting point. Try some on, and good luck :)

So i just had a bra fitting a couple weeks ago since my old ones were getting a bit small (i'm 14)

-I went to Aeries by American Eagle. Everyone who works there is female so there isn't anything for you to wory about.

-when you ask them for a measure, they'll take you and your daughter to the dressing rooms

- i didn't have to undress at all. she just put the measuring tape around my chest and measured
they do not have to see her topless, you can if you want her wear a tank top or something, but they do not ask for her to take off her clothes

-they will not touch any part of her breast or near, the measuring only lasted for around 10 seconds

- no they will not do it in the middle of the store, its back in the dressing rooms

- she should wear anything she wants. it should make no difference whatsoever. if she feels comfortable, maybe have her wear a tanktop beneath a t shirt so that she can maybe just wear a tank top for the fitting, if not, it's perfectly ok.

good luck! just so you know, an alternative to this is if you or your daughter dont feel comfortable enough to do this, is just go to a store that specificly sells bras and try different ones on until she finds that one that fits and feels the best.

--- you might not want to take her to a huge department store like macy or jcpennys to do this becaue there are guys around and she might not feel comfortable enough for them to see that shes buying a bra

How do you find your correct bra size?

I know that you take the measure under your breast, add 4/5 inches, then measure around the fullest part and then subtract the two numbers. But do you subtract from the original number, or the one after you've added 4/5 in.
Can you please help me with this?

Don't bother wasting your time trying to get a sales person to fit you. Unless you have very perky breasts.

If I were to go into a store and get fitting for a bra, they would tell me I need to wear a 32 B. Why? Because my boobs are normal, and not perky. Even if I have a bra on. You can't just measure across the largest part of the breast and get an accurate measurement. The only way to get an accurate one is to lean over so your back is parallel to the floor. This way, you actually get the full measurement of your breasts. But stores don't do this, I don't know why. My end result was a 32 D by the way...just to show you how far off the measuring can really be.

Best way is to just try them on until you find the right size.

The best thing your gf can do is remeasure herself and make sure of her bra size. A 42 brand size would fit best on a woman with a 41-43 inch waists. She would be overweight.

you can DEF. find heavily padded strapless bras there. if you go to the store (go to the store locater to find one near you), you can check out the padding. they don't really show you online but it'll probably tell you what kind of padding like light padding or water filled padding (pretty big). but victoria's secret is best! and they have so many different kinds. the new 100 ways bra is great! it is SO versatile.

(go to BRAS at the top then on the side click on VERY SEXY and find the 100 ways.)

if you don't wanna spend that much, i'm sure you can go to a department store to find one. they most likely have good heavily padded bras too! they might not be really cheap but they should be at least cheapER. hope this was helpful!

Strapless bras are indeed supposed to be tight, because unlike a regular bra they have no straps for support. If you aren't sure with strapless bras you can try those stickies/cups that just cover your nipple. You can get help from a saleslady if you aren't sure with the size of your strapless bra. It shouldn't be loose, or feel the same as your regular bra, but it shouldn't be unbearable to wear..

What size bras are out there i 've head of HH and A,B,C,D but not like GG of HH what are they?

There are two components to a bra size, a number and then a letter i.e 38D.

The letters stand for the cup size, or how far out from the chest wall the breast tissue grows. (how big the boobs are) They run from size AA (smallest) through to H (very large). There are bra sizes out there for even bigger boobs, but ive never heard of anything larger than J. You measure over the fullest part of the breast and around the back to find the cup measurement.

The number in a bra size is a measurement of your back. I.e a 28 inch measurement of your back taken from under the breasts will need a 28 numbered bra.

The ideal bra will be flush around the whole body and between the breasts, will fully encase the breasts with no bulges or gaps, offer good support, lifting the breasts and the back should not ride up.

Hey Jazmine,

Excuse me being a guy, but wearing a tight bra 24/7 will actually increase the risk of sagging, it is really not advisable. It would help to know your size and how 'bad' any existing sagging is, but there's a basic principle that applies regardless. Breasts are naturally supported by ligaments - and like any ligaments in the body they tend to atrophy (weaken) if not required to work. While you're wearing a bra their work is done for them, so they are weak and faced with more breast weight than ever before - sagging is the inevitable result. To minimise sagging and the risk of sagging further you should minimise the time you wear a bra, so the weight, and especially movement, of the breasts causes the supporting ligaments to work and so strengthen. I'm not sure how far through your pregnancy you are so I can't guess how active you're likely to be, but the harder you can work the supporting ligaments the better the shape you will maintain.

The fact is, pregnancy (NOT breast feeding by the way) often causes some degree of sagging - breast tissue only fully matures during pregnancy and these internal changes can lead to sagging. But wearing a tight bra 24/7 means your natural support has no chance of adapting to your new size (breast) weight - it's the last thing you should be doing if you want to minimise sagging.

Last word - please don't get too down about sagging even if you end up stuck with it, it's honestly not a big deal, certainly doesn't mean your breasts can no longer be attractive or sexy, in fact it's often all part of the charm! So it's no biggie, but if you don't like it you really should start working out those supporting ligaments sharpish! Very best of luck, enjoy your new little person when they arrive! :)

You can find padded bras in almost any size, look around in different stores, especially Victoria's Secret. You could try the Miraculous Bra they have, I'm not sure if it comes in AA though. If you can't find any bras that work, there is another option besides breast implants: silicone enhancers, also called falsies, bra inserts, or cutlets. You can get them in stores that sell bras and panties or you can buy them online too. They come in different sizes and can add anywhere from half a cup two 2 full cup sizes to your chest. If you want to look like the B cup you were before, find ones that add 2 cup sizes and get a slightly padded bra in a B cup. The enhancers will fill out the extra space in your bra.

It may be that your bra is digging in a bit and causing some minor damage. You may not feel this while wearing the bra because the bra is forcing the blood out of the area where it is digging in â the pain comes on when the bra is removed and the blood flow returns.

If you see any red marks where the edges of the bra were that could be a sign. Maybe you need a better fitting bra. It may also be best if you take a break from wearing a bra whenever you can, like when just relaxing at home. You should definitely avoid wearing one in bed.

I'm 16, will my bra size ever get bigger?

I'm 16 and I've been a 32A forever. My breasts have not grown at all since middle school and niether has my height. I feel like i've stopped growing even though i'm only 16. And i've had my period since I was 10.

My mother is not flat-chested like me and i'm just wondering, will they EVER grow? I mean i'm not skinny either. I'm 5'5" and 120 - 130lbs which is a pretty average weight.

Most people would consider it big, but only because they don't know how bra sizes work and think D is the biggest size possible.

I'm a 36 D and it seems like almost every cute bra I find only goes up to a 38 C, and if it does go up bigger, it offers little to no support. Victoria's Secret has quite a number of different styles with some cute patterns involved. Try there first off, but if that's too expensive, go to somewhere like a Goody's. They have really cute bra's in D cups where I live.

I was a 34D for the longest. Then I got off birth control, lost 15 pounds and was a very nice, very cute, very happy 32D.

Well now I'm back on birth control, 10 pounds heavier and the 32D on the last hooks is too small and the 34D on the tightest fit is too big.

The worst part is, because my breast aren't symmetrical, the 32D is good on one (more of less) and the 34D is good on the other (again, more or less).

Any ideas? I know I'm not the only one experiencing this annoying lingerie peeve of trying to find both a comfortable and sexy bra. Love to see a man upset about his inconsistencies of his ball size.

Bra sizing differs from manufacturer to manufacturer. 32D Triumph bra will fit much smaller than 32 Warner Bra, while 32D Maidenform bra will fit the largest. Itâs the same as clothing and shoe size that it differs from manufacture to manufacture. I know it shouldnât but it does. You might want to try different brands in the same size.

As for bra sizing. The number 32, or 34 in your case is number that represents the size of your rib cage all around â but letâs just make it simple and say it represents your back â how wide is your back. While the letter number in your case D represents cup size. Your back size can change if you lose or gain weight. Your cup size also changes with loss or gain of weight. But taking birth control increases ONLY your cup size if you stay at the same weight. Birth control pills are charged with hormones that make the breast swell up and retain more water in their tissue.

Asymmetrical breast are actually very common. In fact most of people are slightly asymmetrical. One foot slightly bigger than other, or fingers on left and right hand differ in size. A ring that you would wear on your left hand middle finger, might not fit on your right hand middle finger. Some people have bigger difference in asymmetry others have very tiny unnoticeable difference. There are many women who facing same asymmetry issues when buying bras. My suggestion is to purchase a bra that fits well your larger breast, and compensate for the lack of volume in the other cup by adding a small tiny padding into the bra. It will even out the look. Bra padding comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. You donât need to get any huge bulky pad. Just a small crest moon shape bra insert. Some bras come with pockets where you can insert padding. In that case you can remove the insert form your larger breast cup, and keep the insert only in the smaller breast cup.

Go out to a store that carries variety of bra brands, or go to a mall where there are several lingerie stores, and try on the same size 34D by different manufacturers. Iâm sure you will find that perfect bra. Itâs just a bit of time and patience. Once you will find a brand that works for you, you might want to stick with them.

My motto is: A girl should have a good quality bra regardless whatever the cost is, even if her t-shirt cost $5. That $5 t-shirt can look like million dollars if you are wearing a right bra underneath. Good bra makes a difference how all your clothes hangs on you. It even has an effect on your posture ï

whats the difference between a breast lift and getting implants?

I asked aquestion a while ago on here about breast lifts and i u should wai until after u have kids because it affects the mammary ducts and they said sumthing about the implant settling when u get a brast lift so Im confused

A breast lift is where they cut circle around the nipple, then go straight down below that then curce a cut line under the breast itself. they then remove extra skin tighening it and replacing the nipple higher up centered and perky. Implants they only make a small incision and slide the implant in and you keep the shape of your breast. so if your nipples are pointing down just getting implants wont correct that. Ive had a lift with implants under the muscle and have had them over 5 years and love them love love love my girls. Im a 32 G and had a complete lower body lift all from loseing weight from gastric bypass. 240 to 89 now 120 and sexy as hell at 40!! enjoy life. love your body and do what makes you happy!

So i just had a bra fitting a couple weeks ago since my old ones were getting a bit small (i'm 14)

-I went to Aeries by American Eagle. Everyone who works there is female so there isn't anything for you to wory about.

-when you ask them for a measure, they'll take you and your daughter to the dressing rooms

- i didn't have to undress at all. she just put the measuring tape around my chest and measured
they do not have to see her topless, you can if you want her wear a tank top or something, but they do not ask for her to take off her clothes

-they will not touch any part of her breast or near, the measuring only lasted for around 10 seconds

- no they will not do it in the middle of the store, its back in the dressing rooms

- she should wear anything she wants. it should make no difference whatsoever. if she feels comfortable, maybe have her wear a tanktop beneath a t shirt so that she can maybe just wear a tank top for the fitting, if not, it's perfectly ok.

good luck! just so you know, an alternative to this is if you or your daughter dont feel comfortable enough to do this, is just go to a store that specificly sells bras and try different ones on until she finds that one that fits and feels the best.

--- you might not want to take her to a huge department store like macy or jcpennys to do this becaue there are guys around and she might not feel comfortable enough for them to see that shes buying a bra

How do you find your correct bra size?

I know that you take the measure under your breast, add 4/5 inches, then measure around the fullest part and then subtract the two numbers. But do you subtract from the original number, or the one after you've added 4/5 in.
Can you please help me with this?

Don't bother wasting your time trying to get a sales person to fit you. Unless you have very perky breasts.

If I were to go into a store and get fitting for a bra, they would tell me I need to wear a 32 B. Why? Because my boobs are normal, and not perky. Even if I have a bra on. You can't just measure across the largest part of the breast and get an accurate measurement. The only way to get an accurate one is to lean over so your back is parallel to the floor. This way, you actually get the full measurement of your breasts. But stores don't do this, I don't know why. My end result was a 32 D by the way...just to show you how far off the measuring can really be.

Best way is to just try them on until you find the right size.

Is it just me or are women becoming sloppier?

I am not saying ALL women, but many women I see.

Everytime I go out, I see women with their bra straps hanging out under their tank tops and their thongs showing from under their low-rise pants.

I see chipped nail polish on clerks in the stores.

I see many overweight women who have no problem wearing skin-tight tank tops and shorts and letting their rolls of fat hang out all over.

Not to mention, all the women with manly tattoos and piercings all over their bodies.

Women used to be "ladies". Honestly, is it just me, or have you noticed that women are going downhill fast?

I have noticed this, too. So many women look like trash. Mostly because of their clothing choices. Modesty is nowhere to be found anymore. Depsite popular belief...dressing conservatively and dressing attractively don't have to be mutally exclusive of one another.
I don't get all the piercings and tatoos, either. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be different, but you gotta draw the line somewhere. It's as if so many women think that looking feminine is a bad thing. It doesn't mean you have to wear a dress all the time, but you are a woman for crying out loud, at least try to have some resemblance of one!

The number is how many inches around your chest is (right underneath your breasts). The letter is your cup size.

A is the smallest, then B, C, D, DD, DDD, E, and it just gets bigger from there! A C-cup is probably about average, D is big, DD is really big, and DDD is huge! Most women who have breasts bigger than a DDD are very overweight, but some have breasts that big and are skinny (they usually wind up having bad back problems, very painful).

So 34A would mean that the person is 34 inches around the chest, and her cup size is A, so she's somewhat flat-chested.

32/70 is where, instead of a letter cup size, they measure inches around. So if you wear a 32/70 bra, you are 32 inches around underneath the breasts, and then 70 inches around the chest INCLUDING your breasts. It's just another way to measure.

Most people use letter-cups.

Smallest bra size possible would be the bra size a woman is before she develops her breasts, probably a training bra. It means she has no cup size, and is completely flat, like a man.

The largest bra size possible is impossible to tell, you probably won't meet many average-sized people who are bigger than a DD, but theoretically there is no real limit to how large breasts can get. People can get surgery to make them bigger and bigger, or people who are morbidly obese will gain weight in their breasts as well.

I'm a 40FF and the best maternity bra I have is by Bravado (I also have a Hot Milk one which is OK too, not as supportive, but a lot prettier). They were expensive to buy (I made sure I was fitted at a shop that specialised in nursing bras), but now I know what size I am, I am constantly searching ebay and other online sites to get the same at half the price. I also find that the nursing singlets/vests only have a smaller openeing for part of the breast to poke through when you lower the cup, so it doesn't all flop out, "top secret maternity" are the best I have found.

I have only tried a few brands (for all my nursing wear) because I stopped as soon as I found a good brand and stuck with it.

The Word does not say that we can worship God in everything, but it does say in all that you do, do it for the glory of God. But Paul was speaking of eating and drinking. (I Corinthians 10:31)

As far as worshiping corporately, Jesus has mandated that we do this. He created the Church to be His instrument to take His message to the world. We are not to separate from the Body of Believers. Here's why:

âAnd let us continue to consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another even more as you see the day coming nearer.â (Hebrews 10:24-25)

John Calvin and Martin Luther, both of whom were important figures in the Reformation of the Church, believed so strongly in corporate worship that they made comments like, âApart from the Church, salvation is impossible.â (Martin Luther) And, âSo highly does the Lord esteem the communion of the Church, that He considers everyone a traitor and apostate from religion who perversely withdraws himself from any Christian society which preserves the true ministry of the Word and Sacraments.â (John Calvin)

Here's another reason: (I Peter 5:8) "Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." If we separate from the Body (the church), we are alone in the faith. The devil and his minions are like wolves, hyenas, coyotes and other animals that hunt in packs. In the wild, these animals rarely attack a herd or flock. They wait for one or two to get separated from the rest. They go for the stragglers, who are usually the weakest, either from the journey or illness. Then the predators attack. It's never fair. Five or six to one. And the attacked animal almost always loses.

Likewise, the Christian who separates from the church, is alone. Without a constant diet of solid biblical preaching, and encouragement from other (and stronger) believers, this Christian becomes weak and malnourished in the Word. Their defenses are down. Then the devil and the demons attack. Since the Christian is alone, weak and malnourished, he/she has nothing to defend themselves with, and they succumb to temptation or become disillusion with the faith, and fall away. Their testimony gets damaged, their faith is in shreds, and they wonder, "Why bother?" and quit. Then the devil is satisfied.

It is like this: If the devil can't have your soul, he will have your walk and testimony, if you let him. And skipping church is a sure fire way to go down that road.

Well actually there are studies that have shown that wearing bras 24 hours does cause an increase in the risk of breast cancer. Seriously, google "bras and breast cancer" and you get tons of sites which say they are related, and sites which say they are not. There's even a book written on the subject titled "Dressed To Kill"

I am 17 weeks pregnant and my bras are getting tight and I don't know what type of bra I should get I saw online what is called a nursing bra is that only for when you breast feed? or is that to support your breast during pregnancy? but what type of bra should I buy? and my bras are a 34 B so what size should I move up to?

Nursing bras are just for breast feeding. If your bra is getting tight, you should move up a size in regular bras. I would suggest you just get measured by a proper fitting specialist. You can get measured at JC Penney, Nordstrom, or Victoria's Secret for sure. Even if you're measured at one of the stores, you don't have to buy a bra from there if you don't find a good one. Don't feel bad about leaving with nothing. But do find a good one in the right size. Maybe a 34 C

Do you NEED nursing bras?

To all mothers that have nursed their babies, did you actually need to buy nursing bras? Just wondering. I have been to the stores and can't find anything that I like! Should I spend money on a nursing bra?

I used my nursing bras the first month or so while I was learning to breast feed and adjusting to it, but then I went to normal bras...then I went back to my nursing bras...yeah they're ugly, but they are made for breasts to 'grow' and 'shrink' because your breasts won't always be full (like after a feeding they're not as full/large)...I found that in my normal bras I'd get more engorged (later I found out that bras with underwire can cause clogged milk ducts which leads to engorgement and not very comfy)....My son is 13 months and still nursing but now I wear my normal bras and just lift the cups up 1/2 way over my breasts when he nurses....but I'd say buy yourself a nurisng bra or 2...I actually liked these cheap ugly pink packaged ones from walmart best. Once you've got breastfeeding down you'll know what kind of bra you prefer. Best of luck and congrats on breastfeeding!

It allows you to have the comfort and support of a bra for 18 hours of the day. they don't dig into your shoulders and they don't sag (you don't have to readjust the straps or hooks during a long day). They do have good staying power, but they are definitely not very cute! I would recommend them for more top heavy people who have a very active day.;)

My bracelets are in a large decorative box, my earrings and rings are in separate drawers in a jewelry box, and I hang my necklaces on a little rack with hooks that I hung on the wall.

I hang up all my pants and shirts, I don't have room for folded pants in my dresser. My dresser has the top drawer of underwear, second drawer with bras, third with socks, and then the last 4 are full of pajamas and pajama pants and pajama shirts.

Q. what else comes in "DD" size?

lingerie, some pajamas, some (but rarely) shirts may go according to bra sizes, costumes, cooking/storage containers, and I had another one, but I forgot that one...

I'm a 36 D and it seems like almost every cute bra I find only goes up to a 38 C, and if it does go up bigger, it offers little to no support. Victoria's Secret has quite a number of different styles with some cute patterns involved. Try there first off, but if that's too expensive, go to somewhere like a Goody's. They have really cute bra's in D cups where I live.

definitely, Micheal Phelps winning 8 gold medals was the biggest sporting moment in the 2008 Olympic Games . add to the fact, that he did it in style where he swam in world record times in 7 of those.

as for Usain Bolt, I agree that he did broke 3 world records in the Games including the 100M dash. but these world records he set in the Games will be forgotten once these records will be broken again outside of the Games.

in the Olympic Games, the number of gold medals won will be remembered more than setting the world record.

Well the USA beating USSR in ice hockey at the 1980 winter Olympics was biggest moment for me as well.

Another one would be Fiesta Bowl game Jan 2,1987 between #2 Penn State VS #1 Miami-Florida in which Penn State won 14-10. Miami led by Heisman trophy winner Vinny Testaverde came into the game undefeated, ranked #1 since week 4 of season and outscored their opponents 420-136. Penn Sate was also undefeated, but where the underdogs because they didn't play as dominate in their regular season games and majority of their opponents had record under .500.

Jimmy Johnson was Miami head coach versus the college legend Joe Paterno

Should girls wear bras or not?

So I saw a one of those 'best questions' and I looked at all the answers, but what I'm wondering is...if it's better not to wear a bra, then how are you supposed to cover up your..."point" per say? And if you have to wear a bra, when are the best times to go without one?

YES! Girls over 12 have to wear a bra! I saw a lady in public, wearing no bra and a light pink tank top. It was disgusting to say the least. Without one your boobs would jiggle everywhere and your nipple would be showing. Its disgusting when girls don't wear a bra. The only time its acceptable to not wear a bra is when your sleeping and around the house. Other than that, a girl should always wear a bra. If she wanted to cover up her 'point' then she could wear stick on pads but her boobs would sag a little and look gross.

(Its fine to wear a cami instead of a bra if the girl has really small boobs, like below A.)

How come I...well...show through my sports bra? None of my other friends do but you can see everything. I even have to wear a regular bra under it to prevent this and it makes me very self conscious. Why does this happen? None of my friends have this problem? I just want to be able to wear a regular sports bra.

most girls (or at least most girls i know) usually wear a regular bra underneath anyway, so maybe that's why none of your friends show through.
