How can you tell your cup size?

Q. I was just wondering.

Answer
This should be helpful as a guide for determining bra size.

1. Measure around your chest, just below your breasts.

2. Add 5 inches if it is an odd number; add 4 inches if it is an even number. This is your bra measurement.

3. To find out what cup you need, measure around the fullest part ofyour breasts. If the two numbers are the same, you need an AA-cup. If the two numbers differ by 1 inch, you need an A-cup. If the two numbers differ by 2 inches, you need a B-cup. If the two numbers differ by 3 inches, you need a C-cup. If the two numbers differ by 4 inches, you need a D-cup.

Remember this is just a guide. You really need to try bras on and find the one that fits best. When buying a new bra make sure it hooks comfortably on the last hook so that as it stretches you will still be able to hook it. Buy one bra at that time and wear it to be sure that this bra is most satisfactory for you.

How do you tell a girls cup size?

Robert

I've always wondered this? But never knew how they actually measure? Can someone help ?

Answer
The correct way is to measure the bust and subtract from the underbust to get the cup. Underbust is the band, give or take. This gives the best starting point for finding the most supportive bra.

Example
30" underbust
38" bust
8" difference is an FF so 30FF. Each cup is an inch so A/B/C/D/DD/E/F/FF/G/etc. AA is less than an inch.

HOWEVER, many places don't sell this size but instead of telling the girl the truth they use weird measuring methods to force the girl into their size range. It's very common to add 4 or 5 inches to the band and then subtract from there. So under the "adding inches" method a woman with a 30" bust would be considered 34" and the difference is now 4" which is a D so 34D.

This is why people think D cups are big. A *30FF* is forced into a 34D even though it's completely the wrong size for her. True D cups are not big.

POLL: GUYS does bra size matter?

Q.

Answer
Yes, bra size/boob size really does matter. A woman has got to have at least a handful in order to be dateable and to be physically and sexually attractive. Anything less then a handful is just gross. Also, bigger is better, and huge breasts are ideal.

how do you measure your bra cup size?

vhs_chick_

Answer
Measuring for your bra size is just a starting point, its not exact.

Measure under your bust in inches. Round up to the nearest even number. That is your band size. The other poster added inches to the band, therefore she is incorrect. You dont need to add inches as bra bands stretch. Adding iches is outdated. Stores sometimes use this method when they dont have a large range of sizes. Bands start at a 28

Now measure the fullest part of your bust. The difference between the 2 measurements is your cup size. Each inch equals a cup. So 1 inch equals an A cup, 2 inches equals a B cup and so on.

Now as I said before its a starting point. You must try on to get the correct fit.

Your band must be snug and parallel to the ground. Most of the support comes from the band.
Your breasts should be enclosed in the cups with no bulges or gaps.
The wire must lay flat on your chest.

Think about the band first. Get that right, then think about the cups. Go up or down until you get the correct fit.

Good luck!

How do you measure bra size with a tape measure

Answer
First, measure your band size, the part directly under your bust [EX: 26]. Do not add more than 2 or 3 inches to this measurement [EX: 28]. Next, measure at the fullest part of your bust. Usually across the nipples [EX:32]. Take your bust measurement and subtract your band measurement from it [EX: 32-28=4]. The inches difference would be the cup size. Thus, resulting in a bra size of 28D.

A cup=1 inch
B cup=2 inch
C cup=3 inch
D cup=4inch
and so on...

Can an ill fitting bra cause back pain?

Q. So I was wearing a 36 D, but i got remeasured to be a 32E (I know that they are the equivalent sizes). I have for a while now (at least a year ish) been getting a pain between my shoulder blades, a couple of inches above my strap. Could this have been due to the wrong sized bra? And if i start wearing the right size bra, will it go away immediately, or is there something else i need to do? I always tend to hunch over, could this be due to large cup size? Is it worth buying a whole new set of bras that are the "right" size, considering that im only 15, or should i get myself remeasured again to check if the most recent measurement was right? Finally, is it worth seeing anybody (ie doctor or whatever) about it or not? Thank you :)

Answer
An ill-fitting bra or larger breasts can both cause back pain - just obviously consider it may be down to other causes, most likely other cause to consider is bad posture!

You always should be wearing the right fitting bra - if you are a 32E then you need to be wearing a 32E, it may just be one cup size difference but the back measurement is two sizes smaller, which can make a big difference - if you haven't already got a set of bras in your size then yes, it's important to buy bras in the right size. It's also not just about size of the bra but ensuring that it's worn correctly, for example the back strap needs to be perfectly horizontal across your back and the shoulder straps shouldn't be able to lift more than an inch off your shoulders.

At your age breast growth and development is probably still occurring, your breasts never stop growing and changing throughout your life, adult women should be measured for bras every 6 months so logically as well as regular bra fittings you should double-check your bra size every time you buy a new bra. Remember too that your breasts size will increase/decrease slightly throughout your menstrual cycle so you may need two sets of bras in two different cup sizes.

Do see your doctor, the pain may be due to an ill-fitting bra but longer-term pain like this may be down to something else - I'd still put my money on posture, so it may be worth seeing a chiropractor instead to make sure your posture is as it should be and make any corrections if needed.

does this bra fit correctly?

So, i was told I'm a 32 C, but my boobs bulge out a little. Im not sure if it fit correctly or not. I tried a 32 D, and it covers my breast much more nicely, but the one thing i don't get it the middle of the bra, in between my two boobs, isn't flat against my skin. But it fits well, on my breast, and the band size doesn't ride up and feels comfortable. I know a larger size would leave excess baggage, so i know it would be too big. So I'm a little confused. Also, this bra gives me nice cleavage. just adding. Why is the middle not flat? I've heard its a sign of an ill fitting bra.
the middle of the 32-c also didn't lie flat

Answer
The bra does not fit. A well fitted bra should lay flat in the middle, not bulge on the sides or top and the straps should not slide around. Get fitted at a specialty store to be sure. If you don't feel comfortable in a 32C but that should be your size, the problem may be the bra style. Try a different style. Or you could go down a cup size and up a band size. (34B) It might fit better. Sounds like it would be smaller, but it's actually the same size.

Any Advice For Bra Shopping?

Cruze

I'm a guy with gynecomastia, which means I have breasts. I wear a sports bra for support. The compression vests are too constrictive around my stomach area. It's obvious that I have breasts but my nipples can get really pointy (even in hot weather) and still poke through my sports bra even while wearing sweat shirts. I always see people looking down at my chest and when I see that, I think my nips are sticking out and sure enough they are. Sorry to ramble, but I am serious. I want to get a bra but there are different style. What style kind of bra would be best for me? If I measured correctly I am A 40B.
Oh, I have already tried nipple stickers.
Thank you to everyone who can help me!

Answer
Well, bras with a little more padding in them are best for helping to conceal nipples, but since you're guy, I'm guessing you don't want your breasts looking any bigger. What kind of sports bras have you been wearing at this point? Some of them aren't very supportive, but there are kinds that are heavy duty and are more supportive for running and "high impact" activities like that. Something like that would probably be the best. Most bras besides sports bras are going to either lift and seperate, push up, or make your breasts look rounder and fuller in shape...sports bras are better at smashing things down and holding them in place. You'll want something with some sturdiness to it...it's VERY hard to hide your nips when you're wearing a bra made out of regular, thin fabric. I have one like the Champion one I've posted a link to below and I like it as far as sports bras go. It's supportive and doesn't show nipples lol. You might want to search for "high impact sports bras."

Also, just to save you some frustration, a 40 band size tends to be hard to find, I think. While plenty of people do wear those sizes, most stores only go up to 38...so, you might be able to find that size, but if you can't there's a thing called a "sister size" that you can also use if you can't find the one you need. I believe your sister size would be a 38C (don't worry about the size tag, just the fit though...you can always cut off the tags! Some people seem resistant to wearing certain sizes, but the fit is really what matters, not the size). Depending what brand of bra you go with, they may just come in sizes like M, L, XL, etc. rather than bra sizes...not all sports bras use standard sizing.

Are you confused and overwhelmed yet? Hope this helps :)

What is my bra size????

Meow

At the moment I'm wearing 36 c by my cups are slightly too small.

I'm 36 inches around (over my chest and around my back), each individual boob is 11inches from the left of the boob to the right, and each individual boob is 20inches round. From the side of one boob to the other is 22 inches (over the boobs) and my back is 15inches.

So what is my bra size with these measurements? It will be very helpful to know so I can buy the right sized bra.

Also, am I big (don't have to answer this but information before is a must to answer)
Bust: 36inches
Under bust: 30inches

I'm in Australia

Thanks :)

Answer
Hey,

The two measurements we need to answer are around your body directly under your bust, and around your body over the fullest part of your bust.

Also need to know what country you're in since bras are measured different ways in different places, and it would be helpful to know how you find the fit of the 36C, both in terms of how you fit into the cups, and how the band fits around your body.

I know you put a lot of effort into providing measurements there so I'm sorry to have to say "don't know yet..." full marks for trying though! :)

EDITED TO ADD: Okay! Well, you don't mention that your band is too loose, but if you're only 30 inches around your body under your boobs a 36 band sounds way too big. You do say the cup is a little small, so I would suggest you try a 34D, that would seem the logical next move and would be your correct UK size. I think in Aus that's a 12D, but I may be wrong... I can't say I've bought many bras in Aus!

Unless you're miles from the nearest store do try them on before you buy - any measured size is only a guide, and there's no substitute for trying them on.

Oh, and I wouldn't say that's 'big', but it's certainly a good size - on the large side of medium - perfection in fact. Happy shopping! :)

What is my bra size?

inmyveins.

around the part below my breasts it is 26 inches around and around my breasts its 31 inches around.
I know that its bigger than an A because from what I know your nipple shouldn't be almost spilling out of the cup. but according to bra size finders i'm a 32 A.. and thats not right because I cant even get my boobs into a 32 A.
thanks for the help. i got measured and am a 30 D.

Answer
Rather than be crude... or make foolish guesses, you might want to simply go to the women's department of a nice store (Neimann Marcus, Victoria Secret, etc) and ask for help in sizing yourself... then you can try on a few bras to see how they fit... and voila!!! you will know what size you are and know that it fits the way it is supposed to fit.

Hope this helps. Peace

Where to find a strapless compression/sports-bra like bra?

T.

I like to wear sports bras because they are comfortable and tight, so they hold in my "girls" very well. I am looking for a strapless sports-bra type of bra for prom. Something that is tight and has a "compression" feeling so that I know I will be secure and nothing is going to slip out. Does anyone know where to find such a thing?
Bandeau's have no support and slip down easily. I need something tight in the middle, as well is in the bands

Answer
There are 42 results on eBay right now for "strapless sports bra" (even though they only show eight), but all of them have "Bandeau" in the title, and I see that you wrote above that they won't get it:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=strapless+sports-bra&_sacat=See-All-Categories

There are 2 results on eBay right now for "strapless compression bra", but they are body slips:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=strapless+compression+bra&_sacat=See-All-Categories

If none of those results suit you, and you can't find what you want anywhere else, you can go to ebuyersedge.com and set up a saved search for "strapless compression bra" or whatever it is that you want your keyword or keyword phrase to be. You'd get an e-mail whenever a match is listed. You can use the price, exclude word, etc. filters to narrow down the list of results that you receive in the e-mails.

If you find one that you want listed in auction format, use a sniping service such as Hidbid.com to bid for you. It'll bid in the last few seconds, helping you to save money and avoid shill bidding.

It looks like exactly what you're looking for may not exist however.

Good compression sports bras?

I am 13 years old and I am a gymnast. I am realizing that my boobs are starting to get kinda big. I am guessing I am around an A or B cup, but I don't wear cup bras. Everyone at my gym (even without boobs) wears the Nike Pro Compression Sports bra which I own in multiple colors, but I am looking for a bra that REALLY presses down your boobs. Also in my Nike Pro Bra I am a size Large in kids if that helps...I want my boobs to look pretty flat...almost like I don't have any! (And please don't tell me to embrace them! They are taking away from my confidence and I need to be confident to do well!)

If can spend around $40 - $50, Nike makes an excellant sports bra for marathon runners... Check out sports bras made for runners.

What is the history of womens brassiers?

nosdda

In Queen Victorias days there were no bras manufactured. The ladies wore bodices tied at the back instead. I don't think they were available in the 1920's at all. So when did the brassier start to be made commercially, as well as the different sizes??

Answer
The history of brassieres is inextricably intertwined with the social history of the status of women, including the evolution of fashion and changing views of the body.

Women have used a variety of garments and devices to cover, restrain, or modify the display and shape of their breasts. Brassiere-like or bikini-like garments are depicted on some women athletes in the 7th century BCE in the Minoan era. Similar functionality could be achieved by both outerwear and underwear.

Ordinarily I don't use Wikipedia as a reference source, however,in this case it has extensive historical info: # 1 Ancient

* 1.1 Egypt
* 1.2 India
* 1.3 Greece
* 1.4 Rome
* 1.5 China

# 2 Middle Ages
# 3 Renaissance
# 4 French Empire to 19th century

* 4.1 French Empire
* 4.2 Victorian era
* 4.3 Edwardian era
* 4.4 The Clothing Reform Movement
* 4.5 The emergence of the bra in the 19th century

# 5 The 20th century and the modern era bra

* 5.1 The 1920s
* 5.2 The 1930s
* 5.3 The 1940s
* 5.4 The 1950s
* 5.5 The 1960s
* 5.6 Feminist protests, Miss America, and "bra burning"
* 5.7 The 1970s onwards

# 6 Future of bras

From the 16th century onwards, the undergarments of wealthier women were dominated by the corset, which pushed the breasts upwards. In the latter part of the 19th century, various alternatives were experimented with, splitting the corset into a girdle-like restraining device for the lower torso, and transferring the upper part to devices suspended from the shoulder.

By the early 20th century, garments more closely resembling contemporary bras had emerged, although large-scale commercial production did not occur till the 1930s. Since then bras have replaced corsets, although some women prefer camisoles) and a minority go without. Brassieres are a multi-billion-dollar industry dominated by large multinational corporations. During the 20th century, the emphasis on brassiere usage has shifted from functionality to fashion.

When were BRAS invented?

Are Victoria's secret bra sizes accurate?

Michelle M

So I went to get a fitting and they told me that I was a 32D but that seems way to big for me. I still fit into my 34 A bra that I bought from Victorias secret although I'm spilling out. Also can someone please tell me the formula to figure out bra size?

Answer
If they told you your bra size is wrong then it is definitely wrong because they add four to five inches to the band measurement to tell you your bra size. Bra materials stretch now so adding anything to the band measurement makes it in accurate. You need to get bigger cups because you could be constricting your breasts far too much... and always fit your bra to your bigger breast.

When the breast tissue is constricted or it is not supported then the tissue migrates, when you find your right bra size the tissue will slowly return to normal as long as you don't sleep in your bra and you keep up with the scooping method, you will most likely have to change your bra size multiple times in a year as the tissue becomes concentrated in one area again, you will probably have to continue going down band sizes and up cup sizes, fair warning but it is so worth it because it makes you feel great when you look in the mirror and everything is where it should be.

Every woman's body is different so there is no one bra that will fit you the best.

First verify your bra size, if you don't know your measurements then here is how to take them:
find a soft tape measure in inches
take off everything and stand up
use a mirror and stand sideways to it so you can see your profile
measure directly below the bust around the rib cage with the tape measure parallel to the floor make sure that the tape measure is tight but not pinching your skin
this is your band size, don't add anything to it or take anything away, if it is a 38 you are a 38 if it is a 37 I would try a 36 first but you may be a 38, if it is a 36 you are a 36, anything in decimal form then round down, trust me on that one, bra materials stretch a lot
Now write down your band size
for the cup size lean forward so that all of your breast tissue is to the front of your body
measure the same way as for the band with the tape measure parallel to the floor if you stand up but make sure you do this leaning over and measure it across the part of your breasts that 'hang' down the farthest when you are leaning over
while still leaning over record this measurement, it should not be tight, in fact it should be loose just resting the tape measure on your tissue and not compressing it anywhere
this is your bust circumference. Subtract your band size from this number
the number you just calculated is your cup size for that band size, round normally to the closest whole number. one inch difference is A, 2-B, 3-C, 4-D, 5-DD, 6-E, 7-F, 8-FF, 9-G, 10-GG etc.

Does the band ride up or are the hooks are easily placed on their tightest setting, if so go down a band size and up a cup size until they don't.

Do the straps dig into your shoulders? If they do then loosen them, if they are supporting your breasts then go down a band size and up a cup size until you could go without the straps.

Look for straps that are thick so that they don't dig into your flesh as much.

If you stand in profile to the mirror the fullest part of your bust should be about half way between your shoulder and your elbow. If higher then loosen your shoulder straps, if lower then tighten them or get a smaller band and bigger cup if it just slips down.

If your cups overflow or the cups dig into your breast tissue go up a cup size. If your brest tissue falls our the sides of the cup under your arms or the under wire rests on brest tissue then go up cup sizes until this doesn't occur. You may have to go down band sizes after this if the band no longer rests on the tissue.

If you stand tall with good posture then you should not have bulges or gaping, if there is gaping then go down a cup size, if there is bulging then go up a cup size. Bra's fit you when you have good posture, so if you don't want gaping then practice your posture.

Keep in mind the number and letter don't matter as long as your Brest's look good and you feel supported, go to a store and try on as many bra types and styles as possible in your size (it won't be the same size in every bra so be prepared to go through the above process with every bra that you try on) remember if you go up a band then you go down a cup and if you go down a band then go up a cup because the cup size is all relative to the ratio of rib cage circumference to brest tissue.

Note that back bulge or fat that looks like it is a result of a too tight band is usually a result of a too loose band that is riding up the back and forcing the tissue to ride up so try going down band sizes before you go up. oh and normal bra stores may not have the right sizes so go to a professional specialty store the first time to find your proper bra size.

Guys what is your preferred bra size?

What is your favorite bra size? (out of A , B , C , or D)

Answer
Bra sizes go from AA to L and since most women wear the wrong bra size, majority of people don't even know what actual A/B/C/D cups look like. So asking for A-D is extremely limiting.

True D cups: http://fullerfigurefullerbust.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/dplus.png

G cups for reference (people who don't know how bra sizes work might call these women C/D cups): http://fullerfigurefullerbust.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/gplus1.png

Also, letter means absolutely nothing without the number. A 36C is 2 cup sizes bigger than a 30D because the band is bigger.

EXTRA padded backless adhesive bra?

Farrah Smi

I am an A cup and I wear the bombshell basically every day.... I am looking for a PADDED backless, strapless adhesive bra that adds 2 cup sizes. I have gone to every store possible to find this type of bra and I am starting to get really frustrated and upset with my body. Anyone know of a bra like this??

Thanks.

Answer
Fashion Forms has a padded backless strapless bra that adds 1 cup size. If you really need an additional 2 cup sizes, maybe you can buy 1 cup size larger and add bra inserts that add an additional cup size?

Another option exists if you don't really need a bra that is fully backless as long as it plunges enough in the back to not show. You can buy a Victoria's Secret Multi-Way Bombshell bra which adds 2 cup sizes and a low back bra converter strap (from Fashion Forms, Braza, Magic, etc.) which usually come in clear, nude, black, and white. The low back bra converter strap would lower the back of your bra about 4 inches. If you need additional lift, you might want to consider getting clear bra straps.

i need one of those stick on backless bras for my dress

Answer
That's going to be hard to find- Most women with DD cups want more support than a backless bra can give, so many retailers don't bother stocking them since there isn't much demand. If support is what you're looking for, a backless bra really isn't going to give you as much as you want. I'm a D and I tried a backless bra once and I really wasn't that comfortable.

Here's one that I just found: http://sassybax.com/vb.php
It costs $78 but does come in size DD so you can give that a try.

Also can you have bra cups built into your dress by a seamstress or alterations department? That might be your best bet.

Beautiful gown, BTW!

I have a question about maternity bras?

Britt

So where is a good place to by one? Do they actually make bras that are just better for being pregnant or does it have to be a nursing bra? When do you make the switch? I'm getting to the point where I'm going to have to be buying a bra soon and someone said something about a maternity bra. So that's why I'm curious. Thanks everyone. And good luck with all of your pregnancies!
Well my bra is just getting so small and I'm not really interested in a nursing bra because I'm only 11 weeks pregnant. So is there some kind of just pregnant bra that helps supports the girls without having the openings?

Answer
Basically a maternity bra is just a wireless bra. The idea is that it wont harm your mammary glands so that you'll be able to breast feed when the time comes. I have one but because I have a large chest I really can't wear it in public so I wear a regular bra during the day and the maternity bra at night. Personally I would get a comfy athletic bra for night and get a regular bra for the going out and what have you. I'm hesitant to buy nursing bras until the baby comes cuz I'm not quite sure how big these things are gonna get. Good luck

So when did you half to go into a maternity bra? I have an underwire right now and it’s killing me but im not sure what to do cause I think I’ve gone up in size. I’m 18 weeks so should I just go up a size in regular bras or go to the maternity? Someone told me that underwire bras will mess up your milk glands?

Answer
If your breast are already swelling I would suggest going to a maternity bra. If your not sure what size go to a maternity store and their salespeople will size you. This is a good thing to do after the baby, too, if you are going to nurse. A too small bra is not only uncomfortable but it can mess up your milk development and flow.
You can still wear under wire though. Maternity bras come in all shapes and sizes just like regular bras. But, again, I would suggest being sized because wearing the wrong kind of under wire while pregnant and nursing can actually cause a bad infection. If it squeezes you in the wrong places it will clog your milk ducts and lead to an infection that can cause high fevers and ALOT of pain.
18 weeks is a tad too early maybe but, it wouldn't hurt to look into the pricing and sizing. I went up a size and was very uncomfortable. When I finally went to a store it turns out I was wearing a bra 3 sizes too small!!!
If your not ready for all that yet, try a sports bra. They are really comfortable and less likely to rub you when you begin to get sensitive.
And, finally, remember that if you want to nurse wearing the correct bra can be very, very important. If you do not want to a snug bra will do better as it will decrease milk flow and production and help you dry up quicker.
Hope this helps! Best luck and congratulations!!!

Ok... question about bra cup and strap sizes...?

Alex B

I fill up an A cup very easily. I wear 32A. Sometimes the straps are a little small though. Is a 34A bigger cup size or just strap with the same exact cup? Or is it bigger cup and straps...or just cup?

I am pretty skinny.
I'm getting mixed answers here... is this something that might vary with brands or something?

Answer
Cup sizes are in proportion to the band size. A 34A will be one size bigger in the cups than a 32A, as well as being one band size bigger. If you are pretty skinny then I very much doubt that you will need a 34 band size. The right band size should be your under-bust measurement rounded to the nearest even number, so a 34A is meant to fit someone with a 34" ribcage and a 35" bustline.

The standard measuring system that you often hear about, which requires you to add 4 or 5 inches to your under-bust measurement, does not work at all. It would put me at 34B or 34C, whereas I actually wear a 30F or 30FF.

80% of women wear the wrong size bra, so it's not surprising that you are getting contradicting advice. Most people who have responded to your question are clearly not experts, but are just repeating what they have heard. I suggest you read the links I have given below for more detailed advice on how to tell if your bra fits.

how to know if a bra cup size fits properly?

jessica :]

how do i know if the cup is too big? or if it fits right? i got fitted and they told me my size but when i tried one on, i think its too big..???

Answer
Yeah -- unfortunately bra companies are full of baloney when they size their stuff. I am a 36C but I have to get a 38C at VS, for example. Clothing manufacturers are lame like that.

If the cup has a sort of emptiness toward the top, like you aren't filling it out, either the cup size or just the bra is too large. If the bra drifts upward when you raise your hands over your head, or if the band around your ribs doesn't have a snug fit even on the smallest hook or the band rides up in back because it is loose, then the bra is too big.

If you have bulges of flesh (even if you are thin!) coming up off the top of the cups or over the tops of the band under your arm, or if it looks like the breast isn't being completely covered by the cloth of the cup, or if when you wear a tee shirt you can see the elastic biting into your skin, or if the underwires are biting into your skin, the bra is too small or strapped too tight.

It should feel very comfortable - you should not really be aware you are wearing a bra, but you should have support.

When I shop for bras if I find a cute style I usually get the size I am supposed to be (36C) and also a 38C and try them both on. Many women will tell you that once they find a favorite style they buy several because they know for a fact it will fit and look good.

You should switch out your bras every year or so as they do get old and the elastic wears out.

When you wash them, let them dry in the air rather than in the dryer, because the heat of the dryer can damage them.

Hope this helps . . .

Katie F

ok im 12 and weigh 100 pounds what is a normal bra size 4 me

Answer
somewhere between: 32aa-34b , but everyone is different and there isn't any exact bra size for every one who weighs the same. good luck. :)

Is 34B a decent bra size?

M is havin

For my body (I'm kinda short) I think it's perfect, and I barely got to a 34B when I turned 19 and I'm pretty happy, I don't believe I'd look better with bigger breasts.

So is 34B a decent size to you?

I'd like male and female opinions please :)

Answer
Yea sounds like a good size. I mean if your short you don't want huge breasts it just makes you look fat. And I don't want to be one of those cliche people but oh well. If you think they're perfect then thry're perfect no need for our opinion lol sorry for the cliche they sound like a good fit. I'm a guy btw

difference between juniors and regular womens sizes

thewayitis

What is the difference between juniors size 7 and regular womens size 8

Answer
for size 8 (i used target's size chart cuz they have both juniors and womens) waist:29.5in. hips:39in.
size 7 waist:27in. hips:37in.
so you can see that a size 8 is bigger than a size 7

which size is bigger?

Amy Smith

in bra sizes. is size a or c bigger

Answer
Cup size is dependent on band size, so an A cup can be the same size or larger than a C cup as long as the A cup has a larger band. For example, a 34A will be smaller than a 34C, but the same size cup volume as a 30C and larger cup volume than a 28C. A 34C has the same cup volume as a 38A and a smaller cup volume than a 40A.

US cup sizes are ordered AAA, AA, A, B, C, D, DD/E, DDD/F, DDDD/G, etc, but since cup size is based on band size, all A cups aren't the same volume and neither are all DDs. This is why when a woman goes up a band size and the cups in the original bra fit, she should try a larger brand with a smaller cup size. For example, if you're wearing a 34C and the band is too small and the cups fit, you will be a 36B to keep the same cup volume.

do men like it when women moan?

Yamilet

my boyfriend has been pointing this out alot lately that during intercourse i can be pretty loud. really i dont notice it, i mean ill admitt i do some heavy breathing and i call him on his name, and sometimes i love to hear some dirty words, i try to keep it down, but i guess i cant. i moan alot, and altho he says he loves it and its a turn on, hes always telling me how loud i can be. he even tried to help me control it by telling me when im getting to loud, i understand others might here us, but still..
do men like women who are moaners?

Answer
not every guy is the same, but some do, it shows that they are enjoying the experience.

a woman who does not moan at all during sex can seem like she isn't enjoying it.

why do woman moan during sex more than guys?

Joe K

do they fake it or what?

Answer
Yea, women do it in part to make their partner feel good, but it's mostly because it feels good. Unless they're faking it. lol

But guys make noises too when they really get into it and forget about what's around them. My boyfriend makes grunting noises (lol) and sometimes he makes a sound kind of like when something scares you, a loud inhale i guess you could say. But he only does that when I hit a sweet spot.

Coachella 2013 Dates ect.?

Michael

I've always wanted to go to Coachella, Im 18 I live in the Uk, so i realize i will need to book flights, transport to Coachella ect.

Are there any age restrictions ect i should know about ?
Does anyone know when the tickets are released for 2013 ?
Also best airports closest to Coachella and easiest way to get there ?

Thankyou !

Answer
I'd advise you to put your plans on hold for a couple of years because of your age. There are no age restrictions at Coachella but you'd be unable to check into a hotel or rent a car. You must be 21 years old in order to legally check into a hotel/motel in California. You'll have to present a current photo ID and a valid credit card at check-in and the DO check your age. You have to be 25 years old in order to rent a car. So, at 18 or 19 years old you'd be unable to check into a hotel/motel unless you were accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.

In the US you would be considered legally a minor (a child) and have a lot of difficulties traveling.

coachella 2013??????????

ladyhavoc

How much will coachella tickets cost next year and also how much does it cost to camp out on the site for a weekend? (im saving up in advance) how much did the whole experience cost in 2012? I live in OC cali so i will be able to drive up. thanks in advance!

Answer
They're about $300 for a 3 day pass and they don't make single day passes so whoever says they are, are lying. You wont find a ticket below $300 too. Camping is like another $60 but your in the venue basically and they also have before and after parties and stuff. Two years ago my brother saw skrillex, 12th planet, a track, le castle vania, and popparazzi just in the camping parties.

how can u tell the size of the bra and the cup size?

Jak

i know it sounds a little perverted, im sorry... but my girlfriend dared me to find her bra size... normally i wouldnt mind, but i sat down to thnk n i myself am a bit curious to find out... picture references would be helpful.

Answer
I can't believe I'm doing this, these are really bad examples, but...

I'm going to link to some pictures of me:

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q144/modbod_yumalicous/Immoveable/l_cce710e7acfa1d5dc2ace718115745e9.jpg

This is when I was 12. I was a 34 B. I was actually a 32 around, but they don't really sell 32 band sizes that often.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q144/modbod_yumalicous/Immoveable/l_74cf5f4e8b136b244f95549002797bda.jpg

This is when I was 15 and a 34 C.

http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q144/modbod_yumalicous/Immoveable/l_59f207956e1172c200eaa293e0af36b1.jpg

This is when I was 16. I was a 34 D. Like above, I'm actually a 32 around, but its difficult to find 32 D bras in regular stores.

I'm now a 34 DD, but unfortunately (or fortunately) I don't have any pictures of that.

Basically, if she's pretty petite she's probably a 34 or 36. If she's a little larger around she's probably a 40. If she's really large around she's probably a 46 or a 48.

Regardless of how big AROUND she is, if they are barely different from the rest of her body she is probably and A cup. If she's poking out a bit more she's probably a B cup. If they are a pretty decent size she's probably a C cup. If she's a little bit larger than normal she's probably a D cup. If she's quite a bit larger than normal she's probably a DD cup. Now, if she's absolutely HUGE and I do mean HUGE for her body frame she could be an E, or EE, or higher which despite popular belief, isn't that rare in todays overweight society.

If she's somewhat skinny I'd just go for an average 36 C. If its too small she won't be that offended. If its too big she'll probably feel flattered. Either way she probably won't care that much because you are just a guy and she doesn't expect you to be experienced in that area.

So yeah... hope that helped.

Can you tell a cup size by inches around the bust?

Alexis S

If so what am I? (38 inches) Different bras are always sized oddly. Anyone?

Answer
http://www.85b.org/bra_calc.php

This is supposed to work but I find it doesn't when you are odd like me. (big breasts with a small frame).

Best way is to try on sizes and figure it out. If the bra doesn't fit right, I was told to keep the band size (under the bust) and move a a bra size or two. I was wearing a 34DD which was uncomfortable, so i now wear a 34DDD/F

Mine was my High School State Championship Lacrosse game. It was a yoyo match the whole game back and forth and back and forth the wholel game and in the final quarter the score was 9-9. Well with 9 seconds left my team had the ball on our side of the field and of course I get the ball. First off this was possibly the biggest game of my life because it was the high school championship and because i had college coaches and scouts evaluting me. Well the clock started and i had to all out sprint to the other teamss goal. I cant even remember anything accept i knew i had to get to that goal. I dodged their 3 attackmen and with 4 secondss left i was in their territory. I had the at the top of the crease and with 0.7 seconds left i shot the fastest shot i have ever shot in my life. And wouldnt you know it went in. It was undoubtedly the happiest moment of my life. Because of this goal my team won the championship and i got lacrosse shcolarship for college.

Please Help!!!! I think bras suck!!!!
but some of them are kinda cute and i really need one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer
Okay, the numbers don't have anything to do with the cup size, it's the straps. So don't worry about "having a huge cup size".

LOL, when I got my first real bra I was about 11 in a 34a. Within about a year I went from that to a 34c. I was soo embarrassed because all the girls where still flat chested and guys looked at me funny. But now I'm over it. But I still won't wear a polo shirt. :] What I'm trying to say, you won't be very comfortable at first, but you'll learn to accept it. I hated wearing them, but in a few months time, I hated not wearing them.

I know bra shopping can be very frustrating. I hate it too. You are definitely not alone on that.

What is your favorite bra for lift and support?

Mommy

After a few babies, I am looking for a bra with lift, support and padding. I do not like those demi bras or pushup bras. I am small chested (36b) and would like something that looks nice under fitted shirts like layered tops and t shirts. Any suggestions?

Answer
If you are looking for a extremely good support bra for lift and support, I would advise you to please visit (jcpenney.com) and I promise you won't be disappointed. Check out the Bali Double Support wire-free bra for only $36.00, and they have lot's of other high fashion support and lift bras as well. Hope this is helpful to you. : )

What's the best bra to lift and shape?

Q.

Answer
The Best bra brand for lift and shape and support is Panache Superbra. They do bras from a 28D to a 42KK. I personally am a 30K and i love the Ariza Full cup bra http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/sensational-sets/panache/balconette-bras/pnk4-details.aspx?colour=cornflower&ck=GocqCBVFNsVw%2bfJThDXzfA%3d%3d

But in general if you want good shape, support and lift a full cup bra is best no matter what your size. If you are meaning lift and shape as in cleavage however then you want a moulded plunge bra that is in the right size. If you get a plunge bra in the wrong size you may have more cleavage from the front but from the side you'll look like a pancake

Question regarding nursing bras?

Alexis

im due to have a baby in about a month and half im trying to find nursing bras but im not sure what size i may need...i have had some people tell me that once the milk comes in you will need a bra a cup size bigger than you are now...im currently a 38dd so what is the next size up for cup size and where might i find this size...im guessing it would be 38e but do they even make them?

Answer
Actually nursing bras are available up to a J cup, It is advised that you go to a lingerie store (not VS or a deptartment store) and have a fitting to make sure you are in the right size, at this point for a nursing bra you are advised to fit so you can easily fit your hand into the cup while wearing the bra, but you should only buy maybe 2 or 3 at this time and get more once you have been nursing for a while and your milk flow has settled. Here is a website that stocks nursing bras up to a UK J cup (which is like a US ~Lcup) so give them a look over and the postage is actually quite reasonable plus if you call up they can advise you with more personal information.

Buying a nursing bra?

risingsun8

i am 8 months pregnant how much bigger will my boobs get when the milk comes in?
i would like a actual bra and not a sports bra. i need the extra support.

Answer
I got my nursing bra's at JC Penny's. I bought one cup size bigger than my normal size and it fit perfectly. Sometimes people don't get too much bigger at all when they milk comes in and other times they can go up 2 or 3 sizes bigger. I would just buy maybe one bra and then after your milk comes in go and buy a couple more. I know with me, my milk didn't come in until 3 days after I gave birth so I could still wear my normal bra. So if you think you might feel like it then just go shopping after you have your baby and buy your bras then. When I was in the hospital I just didn't even wear a bra. While trying to breast feed you don't want to have to full with the bra being in the way. My nursing bra I had to tuck the flap down under the bottom of the bra just to keep it out of the way. Also you don't want to buy too many nursing bra's because there is always the chance you can't nurse for some reason and then you spent money on bra's you could have had for something else. That happened to me. Good luck and congrats.

What can attract the overweight women in lingerie?

July H

Answer
The personality of a human being is defined by the clothes. The role of outfits becomes more important in the case of women. They are considered as more fashion conscious than the men. Lingerie is the innermost garments used by women. Unlike earlier, now a number of branded under garment products have come into the markets and they are available in different shapes & sizes. The big size lingerie was not available for the overweight women in the past. Now, many companies have understood the need of such products and therefore they are coming up with the stylish and fashionable under garments for women.

A very common notion is that only thin and slim woman can look beautiful and therefore the obese and heavier ladies are dying hard to loose weight so that they could also enhance their personality. Such women face a lot of difficulties in wearing the normal size bras and panties. The big size lingerie brings a solution to them since these garment items are not only comfortable but also have great designs. One can find a number of companies that produce the big size underwear items for obese women. The plus size lingerie produced by these companies is very popular in the UK. The products made under this category are the extra large in size and excellent in design. These products are designed by the renowned designers so that the customers could get the high quality undergarments. In fact, these items can be seen in different fashion shows where the models endorse the latest female undergarments like bras, panties and many more. Such underwear items are giving delight to the women who are overweight......

best pushup bra?

Laura

I have really small boobs... what's the best pushup bra out there?? I have a Wonderbra right now but it's two years old and I need a new good bra. I need something that's a good shape with a lot of push-up.

Answer
Instead of a push-up bra, I'd recommend these things called Breast Enhancers. They look kinda like breast implants and they are made out of silicone. Victoria's Secret carries them but they are super expensive there. I found them in this catalog called Harriet Carter or www.harrietcarter.com . It's item # E(or F)5504 and they are called Breast Enhancers. They increase your bra cup size by 1 1/2 -2 cup sizes. They are only $19.99 plus shipping and handling (roughly $26) and they fit in any bra. They really adhere to your skin well so you don't have to worry about them falling out (though I wouldn't do sports with them). Experiment with different bras. You'd probably want to get a "C" cup with them and don't get a padded bra when you wear them or it'll look way too obvious. I like them 'cause they look very natural (they even have nipples incase you wear a sheerer type bra and top) and if a guy cops a feel (lol!), he won't be grabbing a bunch of padding. Seriously though, TONS of women wear them. We call them "cutlets". If you don't want to go that route though and prefer a good push-up bra, I'd recommend Victoria's Secret Infinity Edge bras that are filled with gel or the newest push-up bra that has air pockets instead of padding or gel. It's called The Angels Air Push-Up bra. I'd get the Strapless convertible that you can wear a zillion ways. Another one of my favorites is the Very Sexy Low-cut strapless convertible with the Infinity Edge that comes with the cool clear straps. Keep in mind that these bras are atleast $45! You can get good push-up bras just about anywhere now. I noticed that T.J. Maxx has tons of name brand padded and push-up bras especially in "A" cups. Some are normally like $60 bras and they are only like $8 there! Target has some cool push-ups too. You definitely need a good bra after two years though! I recommend replacing bras every year especially if you wear them atleast several times a year. And make sure you take good care of them. ALWAYS wash them in Woolite. The washing machine really ruins them and the dryer is even worse! I'm going to suggest something else and don't get upset because I did it. Have you considered implants? Well, if you are under 18, don't think about it until you are atleast 18. They are really affordable now and you can make payments. I got mine 'cause my boobs were different sizes. One was a large "A" and the other a large "B". I'm now a large "C" or a small "D". I still wear padded bras or enhancers though 'cause I still want bigger breasts! It's sad but our society just keeps telling us that you have to have big boobs to be sexy, don't they? You know what? I take that back! Don't get implants! I mean, unless you are totally miserable and it'd improve your self-esteem tremendously. I guess surveys had shown that men prefer real boobs but if that's true, why are they drooling over girls with fake boobs like in Playboy, right? It's a big decision. There are pros and cons. If you ever decide to do it, really research! Find a doctor that is fully certified and ask to speak to some of his patients (they do that!) and see before and after photos. Check with the Board to make sure that he/she is ceritfied. If you have any doubts, don't do it. On the otherhand, I think small boobs can be really cute and I have met guys that like boobs in all sizes and shapes. Plus, you can wear cute string bikinis, I can't, I fall out of them! Smaller busted girls look much cuter in string bikinis! Well, I hope I helped. Check out Victoria's Secret website for all the newest bras and don't discount the other stores I mentioned!!! BEST OF LUCK!

Ladies, is it okay to wear a push up bra when you already wear a D cup?

JJ :)

I'm an 18 year old and a 34D, but with a bigger chest, boobs don't always look as perky, so I was thinking that a push up bra would probably help give a little lift. Would a nice Victoria's Secret push up work considering that the bras are made for all sizes, or would it be too "overflowing"? (; Thanks for any tips or answers you have!!

Answer
I am also a 34 D and just bought this great bra from Victoria Secrets called Dream Angels Push-up. It gives just enough lift so that they don't look obnoxious. Hope this helps

Two Cups Size Padded Bra With AA Cup?

hiskid1973

I lost weight and went from a full B to and AA.. I got some spring/summer outfits that fit great but have
a lot of bust space.I got a VS bombshell but it sorta smashes me and doesn't feel comfortable compare to
a regular ppu bra.Is there an AA cup bra that is padded? Thanks.

Answer
You can find padded bras in almost any size, look around in different stores, especially Victoria's Secret. You could try the Miraculous Bra they have, I'm not sure if it comes in AA though. If you can't find any bras that work, there is another option besides breast implants: silicone enhancers, also called falsies, bra inserts, or cutlets. You can get them in stores that sell bras and panties or you can buy them online too. They come in different sizes and can add anywhere from half a cup two 2 full cup sizes to your chest. If you want to look like the B cup you were before, find ones that add 2 cup sizes and get a slightly padded bra in a B cup. The enhancers will fill out the extra space in your bra.

Ok... question about bra cup and strap sizes...?

How can you tell you are inbetween two cup sizes?

Byte-Sized

I'm wondering if I am a BC cup, but have not been able to find any sites with information I want. I've only found sites that tell you if you are an A, B, C, and so on, but nothing on inbetween measurements. If anyone knows of a site, that could help as well, or if you know how to tell, that's good. Thanks.

Answer
I also think it was Playtex that was advertising half sizes. Try Victoria Secrets. When you go in a Victoria Secrets store there is someone in there that will measure your breast for you and they'll let you know what would be a better fit.

Victoria Secret bras?

Victoria

I dont understand the difference between the push-u bras and the demi bras? what do the demi bras do? do you have to hand wash VS bras? what is the right age for people to start shopping at Victoria's Secret?
i only shop in the PINK section

Answer
Push up Bras - Have extra padding on the bottom of the cup to give you that certain look. Very Sexy Bras (A sub-brand of Victoria's Secret) has the most popular push up, but if your young this is probably not the look you are going for. Angel's Push up bras will give you a fuller look. I personally like the Very Sexy bras for special occasions and the Angel's push ups for everyday (they are wayy more comfortable).

Demi Bras - The bra cup is 3/4 the size of a normal bra cup, its worn for when you are wearing lower cut shirts and you don't want the bra cup to show, it is never a push up because you'll fall out of the bra cups... The Demi Cups can give you a rounder shape, but it doesn't have a lot of support.

Yes, hand wash all of the bras!!

You can start shopping there whenever you feel comfortable doing so. If your unsure about your size you can always go to the fitting room and get fitted. Then the Sales Associate can show you all the bras Victoria Secret carries in your size.

How do I sew a customized bra?

How to sew a customized bra

Answer
Bra making is a very satisfying and rewarding hobby and there are many stores that cater to the home bra-maker. They carry everything from patterns to special fabrics and all the little hooks, clasps, and other hardware you will need. You can't make a bra without proper instructions and patterns, bras are surprisingly complex. You don not need a serger or expensive sewing machine, a machine that does straight, zig zag and three step zig zag is all you need.

Here are a couple sites that have everything the beginner bra maker needs:
http://bramakerssupply.com/
http://www.sewsassy.com/index.shtml
Here's a series of lessons on how to make a bra by using one you own for the pattern: http://www.andsewitis.net/braclass/class_start.html
and here's a book I have that has everything you ever wanted to know about making bras: http://www.bramakersmanual.com/

And that should get you started. If you need a custom size making a bra can actually save money.

how to ask for a bigger bra....?

Q. Im 13 i live with my 23 yr old brother,i used to live with my grandma she bought me sports bras cause thats all i needed, but she died 4 months ago.and in the last few months i have been noticeing i need a bigger bra.the only other people in my family beside my bro are distant and live hours away.help me!!!

Answer
well, he's 23, i'm sure he knows what bra's are. just tell him you need him to take you shopping. go to the mall and go to a store like La Senza, or another store that specializes in underwear and bras. Just tell them you need a bra that's a size bigger. It's always only women that work there so you don't need to feel uncomfortable. They will measure you and find a bra that will fit you. your brother doesnt even need to come in with you, he can wait in the food court or check out another store while you're in there. you don't need to be embarrassed or anything when you ask your brother, he knows that girls need bras and that you dont have another woman to ask take you. Or you could ask your best friends mom to take you if you'd feel more comfortable doing that. I'm sure she would undersatnd! :)

How To Tell Mom I Need a Bigger Bra Size.?

Q. 1 year ago my mom bought me my first bra, it was a 32A. I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable last month so i fixed the straps, and i still felt uncomfortable. So i google how to measure your breasts i turned out to be a 36A. My mom and i don't feel comfortable talking to each other about that stuff, it is akward for both of us,so how do i HINT to her that i need a bigger bra.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN ANSWERING!!!

There have been some pretty good answers so far

Answer
me and my mom used to be the same way.

until one day i was fidgeting, with the bra, and she said that she thinks that its time for a bigger size.

or just casually bring it up while you are out shopping with her one day, and tell her that your bra is too tight.

i know you're probably looking at this like its easier said than done because actually, it is. but once you ask you'll realize that its not that big a deal. your mom didn't stay the same bra size forever, and she knows that you're not going to. trust me, when you tell her, you will fill a lot better, and your lungs will thank you because it will be so much easier to breathe (:

Strapless backless bra?

Charisse

I bought this really pretty dress from Earth Bound for prom, but its a halter, low, and backless. Its also silk so the fabric is thin, anyways I'm mildly concerned about the whole no bra thing with it, so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions? I know vaguely about those adhesive bra's, but I live in a semi-small town and I'm not sure if Victoria's Secrets has them.
Any advice is appreciated. :]

Answer
Try shopping online for them. I know JC Penny's has them. I had ordered one for my winter formal this year (I don't like the whole going braless thing either, I like some support and I think it looks odd when women don't have that). Though you have to be careful with sizing, mainly with pushup ones. I ordered a 36 A (my usual size) and it was made smaller than my usual bras (and thus caused great difficulties for me in making it work). You may want to consider some "lingerie tape" which is about $7 a dispenser to make sure everything stays snug and secure. You can probably find them in local stores too like Walmart.

Do the invisible/backless bras actually work?

Cora Black

I need a bra for a backless dress that I will be wearing to a wedding. Do the invisible bras work? Does Victoria's Secret push up invisible bra actually push your breasts up? I have a rather small cup size and would like a bit more VaVoom. haha Thanks for the help!

Answer
I work there currently, so let me give you the REAL facts...and I have a small cup size so I can totally relate :)

There are several different styles, but it depends on your dress and what you are going for. At Victoria's secret, these are part of a collection "Style Secrets". Search "style secrets" on victoriassecret.com to see what I'm talking about. Go to the site to see the variety or to a store. (You might want to call to see if that store carries them too, to save a trip and gas if they don't).

If you don't have a VS, lots of stores sell them. They work, too. The difference is the quality of material, but purpose is the same. (rant to follow)

The only real way to get any real support from a backless bra (that is strapless) is if it has UNDERWIRE. or straps at least, but for a strapless bra...def. underwire.

however, those bras don't stick to your breasts like most invisible bras. They have sticky clear short straps (where the band or wing of your bra would be) that lay upon your ribs exposing your back. These go by actual bra size (band size and cup size, ie: 36B, 34 C)

The invisible bras that stick to your breasts have special adhesive that allow it to be reusable up to 25 times (that is, if after each use you clean it with some mild soap and water and let it air dry, otherwise it'll gather dust, lint, and oil like tape. Some are thin, and some have push up (or really a thicker cup with more padding on the bottom. Really, those more add volume or size to the breasts rather than lift, although it can add cleavage if you position the bra as needed. These bras are pretty much two squishy cups with a clear hook in the middle to join them--adjusting them further will give you a little more cleavage. Remember, no straps, no wires. no lift. gravity pulls your breasts down.

***please CLEAN your breasts before applying. Skin has natural oils, and dead skin cells, and there may even be lint or dust from your clothing, so you wanna get all that stuff off or it'll stick to the adhesive) and Clean the bra afterward. sounds silly, but you want to get the most out of it right? it also tells you to do so on the instructions that come with the bra.

ALSO: another option...
Depending on how low your dress is, (like say ending mid back than just above your butt) you could purchase a "low-back" bra, which has a wide strap that hooks on one end of the bra, wraps around the tummy, and reconnects on the other end. (Note, if you have some pudge on your tummy, this might not work out if you have a tight dress because the strap will dig into your stomach and make it appear that you have rolls, even if you might not even have any) Try the "Gorgeous Push Up" or "Very Sexy Lowback" (discontinued, but check semi-annual sale or online)

If you don't have a Victoria's Secret around, try department stores, Wal-Mart, or flea-markets, or even the smaller non-brand stores in the mall. (Remember you get what you pay for, and I've tried many brands, and some work amazing, some were a waste.) Lots of brands/makers make "knock-offs" of Victoria's secret bras. They perform the same functions and may also have similar features, but they won't have the technology like memory foam, or patented material, or softer fabric---these bras get tested for over 12 months before they get released in stores, so the price you pay comes from all that goes into it. But there are some hidden treasures too. I like Lily of France.

Before buying online, I really suggest going to an actual Victoria's secret to get fitted. IT'S FREE! You don't want to have to wait a week or two for it to come in, (or pay extra shipping for speedy delviery) and it does not fit. Waste of time. See the actual product itself in stores. (find locations on victoriassecret.com). Try it on, or at least look at it to see if you want to buy it). We are all trained to fit. If in doubt, ask for the "bra specialist". Go on a low traffic day or time period, or at least go on a day when you at least have time to try the bra on and find the right size and style that looks best on your unique body shape. Save money (no returns, no bras you won't ever wear) save time (no extra trips).

Vicky's secret isn't the only bra store, there are several other places that specialize in bras--just search around your area. Lane Bryant, Soma, some higher-end department stores) They have trained people who have knowledge about bras, and boobs, and sizing, and everything you wanna know. More pricey, but hey, you get what you need, you get the right size so you look amazing and you'll feel more comfortable and confident. (don't think that getting a bigger or smaller size than what you really wear will make you look good, the more custom fit the better---think super tight dress or super loose dress...not flattering, let's be honest)

haha sorry for the rants, semi annual sale is going on and it was a crazy day.

Bra sizes {read description}?

Q. In victorias secret I would buy 34B, they're comfy, but a bit snug around the band. The cups are also a little too small, which size should I buy now? I'm thinking about buying bras online, what size should I get. {i cant measure myself because i don't have a tape measuree] also, good websites to buy bras at? Don't say kohl's or target or walmart please...

Answer
I buy my bras through Victoria's Secret's website. You could try going up a cup size if your bras feel a little small. However, I really would recommend investing in a tape measure. They're very cheap and your local craft store/Joann Fabrics/Walmart would probably have one. You can save a lot of money that way.
