Why do so many guys who swear they love big breasts when they have no idea about true bra size?

mwdogg1

I hear so many guys talk about how they love women with DDs but do guys even know what that means? Will you actually pull ou a tape measurer and dump her if she's not a certain cup size? Seriosly just as long as her breats are noticable I think most guys are fine. Guys don't know about real bra sizes. Comments?

Answer
Objection. You will never see a woman get out her ruler to make sure a guy is at least 6 inches long and 5 inches girth, but yet, you often hear women talk about needing a penis to be at least x amount of inches long for satisfaction. When we talk about sizes (in this case, breast size), its not like we actually take out tape measures or anything, its that we associate what size breasts we like with whatever their bra size is. Oh, and BTW, they need to be more then noticeable. If they are less then a handful, forget about it.

Is it weird if a guy asks ur bra size?

Brianna

Me and my friends were like walking to the bus stop And of course im a 7th grade girl and all my friends are 8th grade boys And one of my friends I don't even know why just like commenting on ant hills and I'm like what? and then I said to my other friend what is he talking about and then he said he's talking about your breasts and then I said what's and then I threw an apple at my friend of course . and I know 8th grade boys are perverts but then we got to the bus stop one of my friends asked me my bra size the same one that was coming on my boobs and like I just said why should I tell you and he's like because I should know and then I was like why we started laughing but I for real need to know is that creepy if hes like asking my bra size

Answer
His question is incredibly rude. It's none of his business what size bra you wear. If anyone else asks you, tell them to jump in the lake.

Improper fitting bra?

Psan

I have never brought bras before in US. I usually get it in India. Now I had to get it here I am really confused about the size. Back in India I used to get 32c. Now I am not sure if I have put on some weight, I tried out in shops n got 32D. Found good in the shop. But after wearing for a long time today seems like the under wire is hitting me under my breast on the ribs beneath. What should I do? Do I need to get a smaller size? Bigger size is again to poke me down I guess.

Answer
85% of women (girls too) are wearing the wrong size bras!

Best answer is not to buy them online, but get a fitting @ stores in your area. JCPenney, Sears, Macy's, Victoria Secret.

If boobs are peeking out, the cups too small, find a different cup, and not all 32Cs one size fits all.

There are style of bras, that just sits there like a suit of armor, but good fitting bras you don't even know they're there! They fits like a glove, lifts, & separates, and gives you fullness and your figure looks good, your dress looks better on you.
Like the other day, I put on one of my VS bras, SAME size, SAME STYLE, different color, and it was a bit too tight. It turned out, the fabric where they sewed the hook & eye, was longer than the other bra, so the length is 2" shorter - making my bra too tight!

You may have to spend a little bit more to find that perfect FIT. You just can't guess, specially buying online and paying for Paypal. I got screwed once, it took 3years for my credit, but I did all the legwork. I was also part of a class action lawsuit.

If you can't stick 2 fingers between your skin & your bra band, it is too tight!

My first bra fitting?

Jen

Alright well I'm 15 and I've never had a professional bra fitting. I feel like I'm not wearing the right size so I decided I want to get fitted. So I have a few questions and I'd feel really grateful if you answered them all.
1. Do you take off your bra during the fitting? (keep shirt on or off also?)
2.What would I do about my mom? I can't drive so she'd have to take me there.
3. Would I go to victorias secret or am I too young for that. What kind of bras would they give me since I'm not an adult?
4. Cost for fitting?
Thank you :)

Answer
1. Do you take off your bra during the fitting? (keep shirt on or off also?)

For a proper bra fitting, You should be topless. Don't worry they have seen 100's of pairs of boobs there isn't a type of boob out there they have not seen yet. That includes inverted nipples and 3rd nipples too.

2.What would I do about my mom? I can't drive so she'd have to take me there.

Your mom is a woman so she should know that at 15 you need a bra. If she is the one that is buying them for you and she isn't at least measuring you then how would she know your size. I'll do more about a proper measurement to get the right bra down at the bottom

You can use this as a Girls day out. Tell her you want to do something together and take her to s small lingerie store and get fitted together. You might also want to go on youtube.com and look up "How to look good naked" then say I wonder if we are wearing the right bra.

3. Would I go to Victoria's Secret or am I too young for that. What kind of bras would they give me since I'm not an adult?

This is how the fit people at Victoria Secrets. First they measure your bust and under the bust over you clothes and over your current bra. Then they calculate that to find a size and put in a booth alone and ask you to try it on. Well if you have never had the right bra how do you know it's right. It might look better it might look you might feel more comfortable. But you still might not be quite right proper bra fitter is in the booth with you they run their fingers along the band and the straps to make sure they aren't to tight. They don't have an issue looking at you topless no matter what size and shape your body is. Victoria Secrets and lot of Department stores are the same way. They would sell you what ever bra you want them to sell to you. If you want a push up you can buy it. These are clothing items, and they want their money.

4. Cost for fitting?

Free it should be free everywhere you go. each bra can be 30-150 bucks that is where they make their sweet sweet cash. Plus the panties can be 20-100 as well. it is recommended to buy more panties then bra as bra can last up to 3 years if your the same size wear the underwear doesn't last as long.

Why don't you measure yourself and see if your waring the right bra to beginning with.

Fullest part of the Bust inches - Under the bust in inches = your cup size in inches
36inch - 30 inches = 6 inches

Under the bust = your band size. So if you it's 30 then your band size is 30. If it's an odd number like 29 then you have to go up to the next even number to ge the band size. But you should still do the equation like above with the odd number; ie 36inch - 29inch = 7inches

Each cup size is a one inch higher than the next except for aa which is only on half inch smaller than a A cup. AAA is nothing but a bra made for women that are really small so they feel more normal by having a bra.

Do you NEED nursing bras?

tinabinas1

To all mothers that have nursed their babies, did you actually need to buy nursing bras? Just wondering. I have been to the stores and can't find anything that I like! Should I spend money on a nursing bra?

Answer
I used my nursing bras the first month or so while I was learning to breast feed and adjusting to it, but then I went to normal bras...then I went back to my nursing bras...yeah they're ugly, but they are made for breasts to 'grow' and 'shrink' because your breasts won't always be full (like after a feeding they're not as full/large)...I found that in my normal bras I'd get more engorged (later I found out that bras with underwire can cause clogged milk ducts which leads to engorgement and not very comfy)....My son is 13 months and still nursing but now I wear my normal bras and just lift the cups up 1/2 way over my breasts when he nurses....but I'd say buy yourself a nurisng bra or 2...I actually liked these cheap ugly pink packaged ones from walmart best. Once you've got breastfeeding down you'll know what kind of bra you prefer. Best of luck and congrats on breastfeeding!

i need to buy nursing bras?

Zaya a

but i have NO idea what size to get!! right now i am a 34B, and i am already 36 weeks. how much bigger should i expect them to get? lol thanks

Answer
When I bought nursing bras, the lady at Motherhood Maternity told me to get one size cup bigger than I was--I, too, went at 36 weeks to get nursing bras.

It only fit while I was engorged. The rest of the time it was way too big.

What I would suggest to you is this: buy the sleep nursing bras, that are sized S, M, and L. Buy a couple of those. Once your milk has come in and you're no longer engorged, then go buy the nicer nursing bras. At that point, your breasts will be the size they'll probably stay while nursing.

I was a 36C at 36 weeks. Now, I wear nursing tanks that are a 34B/C from bravado.

Until you get there may I offer my services for a handbra??

what did women wear instead of bras back in the days when bras were not invented?

i'm me

Answer
There were people whose jobs were to cover breasts back then in order to make handbras. Usually, they were midgets so they were able to cling on to the body from behind. Of course, this is why there were many humpbacks back in the day too due to the midget giving the visual of that.

Cheer Practice Apparel???

sexysporty

When it comes to cheerleading practice, is there a difference in http://www.totallycheer.com/store/animal-print-racer-back-cheerleading-tank-p-526.html and http://www.teamcheerleadinguniforms.com/product/7812 besides the amount of exposed midriff? Is one easier to cheer in than the other? Is one more comfortable than the other? Is one better for support than the other? I normally wear a sports bra, but I didn't know if the cheerleading tank would be better in terms of support or how comfortable it is. If the cheer tank is better than the sports bra, I could still pull it up like a sports bra, right? FYI, I'm a 13 year old girl! Thanks in advance!

Answer
The sports bra gives more support. Wear it under the tank and then you always have the option of taking off the tank to just be in the jog bra.

Check with your coach, though, as some do not find jog bras to be acceptable as a shirt.

is it abnormal to wear a bra and a sports bra while working out? or a bra and 2 sports bras? i am a 34A and whenever i just try on a sports bra i look REALLY FLAT-and it hurts after a while because it pushes my boobs in(my boobs look bigger w/out a bra at all then with a sports bra)! so that is why i always wear a bra underneath. any sports bra sugestions that won't make me look flat?

Answer
Hey. I'm small also (34A).
I cheer and when cheering it is required that we wear a sports bra, but when i wear a sports bra i look extremely small and like you said, it starts hurting!!
Well I got these bra's at Target that hook in the back (besides the bottom hook) and have the same racer-back type back as some sports bra's when they are hooked. I wear one of those under my sports bra. I know that some sporting goods stores do have sports bra's with pads in them though!! Umm, Academy Sports, Dick's sporting goods, i don't know where your from so i don't know what your local sporting goods store is. haha.
So to answer your questions, No it is not abnormal to wear a bra and a sports bra to work out!! and My suggestion if you don't want to wear two bras or just a sports bra is to get a padded sports bra!

Well I hope that helps!!
Good Luck!!

Why does it hurt to take my bra off sometimes?

Krystal

Sometimes when I take my bra off after a long day, my breasts hurt. Like, right after I remove the bra. What causes that? Does that happen to you?

Answer
happens to me too, its normal. its just because bras like compress them i guess, and when you take off a bra it 'sets them free' and i guess it hurts them from being compressed

Should I take the bows off?

I have this bra, and absolutely love it, one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn. Only I'm having trouble wearing it under some of my tops, as the bows on the straps stick out. Would it look weird if I cut them off?

Answer
Im the same size as you & i recently got a pushup bra..

It makes your boobs look fuller. If you just take your boobs and push them to the center of your chest more, and then If you don't know what I mean you could try a pushup on at a bra store. I went to aerie for mine, and they're very comfortable actually! Almost as comfortable as a normal bra.

Experienced Girls: Bra Help?!?

elizabeth

I have a lot of questions so u can just copy and paste them so you don't have 2 type all this again
1. I am a little embarrassed about getting measured at a store ( which I will get over) but how do you ask them to measure you?
2. What bra do you think is best ( push up, Demi, lightly lined, add 2 cups, bustier bra etc.)
3. What color bras should I get?
4. Where do you get your bras from?
5. Should I ask to try on a bra? Will the store let me?
6. I've tried measuring myself at home but over the past couple months ( about 3 I think...) I've gotten a 34aa then a 34a but I'm pretty sure I'm a 34B, should I get measured anyway?
7. I feel awkward going alone but I have no one to bring! How do I try to look older and less... Awkward???
8. Should I get a strapless bra?
9. How many bras should I start with?
10. What kind of bra do you like best?
11. This is the last one I promise lol but has anyone ever tried/worn a sports bra with cups?
Sorry if there are spelling errors thank u

Answer
1. Many stores measure wrong. For instance, Victoria's Secret will measure OVER the bust to get the band size, which makes no sense as you wear your band underneath. Measure yourself first and then go to a small boutique rather than a mall store, just so you know when something is off (if your underbust is 28 and they hand you a 34 band, you KNOW something is wrong.)

2. I personally like moulded cup bras, but soft cup bras are always good too. Moulded cup bras give a very round appearance under clothing.

3. Get one to match your skin color, one black, and one white at the very least. Those are the basics.

4. I get my bras online since I'm a 30E/F and no place in my city sells that size. And no, my breasts aren't even that big.

5. Lingerie stores should always let you try on bras.

6. This guide is the best I've seen: http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/wiki/fit_guide

They take several measurements rather than two (bust and underbust) in order to assess other factors, such as firm VS soft breast tissue, shallow VS projected breasts, et cetera.

7. Fitters see tons of women all the time, don't worry about it. Some fitters even see men.

8. If you're planning on wearing something strapless or don't want bra straps to show, then yes.

9. 3-4 is a good start. Bras will last longer if you rotate them (not wearing the same two days in a row). The elastic wears out much faster if you wear them everyday. Make sure the bra fits on the loosest hook first, that way when the band starts to stretch, you can switch it to the tighter hooks.

10. I really like lacy bras as well as bras with colourful prints. Longline bras are gorgeous.

11. I haven't, but I heard they're much better than the "uniboob" ones. :P

Strapless backless bra?

Charisse

I bought this really pretty dress from Earth Bound for prom, but its a halter, low, and backless. Its also silk so the fabric is thin, anyways I'm mildly concerned about the whole no bra thing with it, so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions? I know vaguely about those adhesive bra's, but I live in a semi-small town and I'm not sure if Victoria's Secrets has them.
Any advice is appreciated. :]

Answer
Try shopping online for them. I know JC Penny's has them. I had ordered one for my winter formal this year (I don't like the whole going braless thing either, I like some support and I think it looks odd when women don't have that). Though you have to be careful with sizing, mainly with pushup ones. I ordered a 36 A (my usual size) and it was made smaller than my usual bras (and thus caused great difficulties for me in making it work). You may want to consider some "lingerie tape" which is about $7 a dispenser to make sure everything stays snug and secure. You can probably find them in local stores too like Walmart.

Do the invisible/backless bras actually work?

Cora Black

I need a bra for a backless dress that I will be wearing to a wedding. Do the invisible bras work? Does Victoria's Secret push up invisible bra actually push your breasts up? I have a rather small cup size and would like a bit more VaVoom. haha Thanks for the help!

Answer
I work there currently, so let me give you the REAL facts...and I have a small cup size so I can totally relate :)

There are several different styles, but it depends on your dress and what you are going for. At Victoria's secret, these are part of a collection "Style Secrets". Search "style secrets" on victoriassecret.com to see what I'm talking about. Go to the site to see the variety or to a store. (You might want to call to see if that store carries them too, to save a trip and gas if they don't).

If you don't have a VS, lots of stores sell them. They work, too. The difference is the quality of material, but purpose is the same. (rant to follow)

The only real way to get any real support from a backless bra (that is strapless) is if it has UNDERWIRE. or straps at least, but for a strapless bra...def. underwire.

however, those bras don't stick to your breasts like most invisible bras. They have sticky clear short straps (where the band or wing of your bra would be) that lay upon your ribs exposing your back. These go by actual bra size (band size and cup size, ie: 36B, 34 C)

The invisible bras that stick to your breasts have special adhesive that allow it to be reusable up to 25 times (that is, if after each use you clean it with some mild soap and water and let it air dry, otherwise it'll gather dust, lint, and oil like tape. Some are thin, and some have push up (or really a thicker cup with more padding on the bottom. Really, those more add volume or size to the breasts rather than lift, although it can add cleavage if you position the bra as needed. These bras are pretty much two squishy cups with a clear hook in the middle to join them--adjusting them further will give you a little more cleavage. Remember, no straps, no wires. no lift. gravity pulls your breasts down.

***please CLEAN your breasts before applying. Skin has natural oils, and dead skin cells, and there may even be lint or dust from your clothing, so you wanna get all that stuff off or it'll stick to the adhesive) and Clean the bra afterward. sounds silly, but you want to get the most out of it right? it also tells you to do so on the instructions that come with the bra.

ALSO: another option...
Depending on how low your dress is, (like say ending mid back than just above your butt) you could purchase a "low-back" bra, which has a wide strap that hooks on one end of the bra, wraps around the tummy, and reconnects on the other end. (Note, if you have some pudge on your tummy, this might not work out if you have a tight dress because the strap will dig into your stomach and make it appear that you have rolls, even if you might not even have any) Try the "Gorgeous Push Up" or "Very Sexy Lowback" (discontinued, but check semi-annual sale or online)

If you don't have a Victoria's Secret around, try department stores, Wal-Mart, or flea-markets, or even the smaller non-brand stores in the mall. (Remember you get what you pay for, and I've tried many brands, and some work amazing, some were a waste.) Lots of brands/makers make "knock-offs" of Victoria's secret bras. They perform the same functions and may also have similar features, but they won't have the technology like memory foam, or patented material, or softer fabric---these bras get tested for over 12 months before they get released in stores, so the price you pay comes from all that goes into it. But there are some hidden treasures too. I like Lily of France.

Before buying online, I really suggest going to an actual Victoria's secret to get fitted. IT'S FREE! You don't want to have to wait a week or two for it to come in, (or pay extra shipping for speedy delviery) and it does not fit. Waste of time. See the actual product itself in stores. (find locations on victoriassecret.com). Try it on, or at least look at it to see if you want to buy it). We are all trained to fit. If in doubt, ask for the "bra specialist". Go on a low traffic day or time period, or at least go on a day when you at least have time to try the bra on and find the right size and style that looks best on your unique body shape. Save money (no returns, no bras you won't ever wear) save time (no extra trips).

Vicky's secret isn't the only bra store, there are several other places that specialize in bras--just search around your area. Lane Bryant, Soma, some higher-end department stores) They have trained people who have knowledge about bras, and boobs, and sizing, and everything you wanna know. More pricey, but hey, you get what you need, you get the right size so you look amazing and you'll feel more comfortable and confident. (don't think that getting a bigger or smaller size than what you really wear will make you look good, the more custom fit the better---think super tight dress or super loose dress...not flattering, let's be honest)

haha sorry for the rants, semi annual sale is going on and it was a crazy day.

Have no friends or have neglectful friends?

Would you rather have no friends at all or have friends that rarely want to hang out/talk with you?

Answer
neglectful friends aren't friends at all, these type of friends will not stand by you when you are in trouble. Having these so called "friends" would only mean more trouble, they will only use you for their own good and kick you away the next day when you are of no more use to them, i would rather keep to my imaginary friend.

Physics of 3 way tug-o-war?

Cato

Some friends and I were having a debate after seeing a mountain dew commecial with 3 way tug-o-war. Basically the question at the bottom of our debate is this: If there are 3 teams--A,B,C-- Strength of A=1 Strength of B=1 Strength of C=1.2 then would it be different than just team A vs C in 2 way tug-o-war? Obviously team C should win both 3 way & 2 way against either of the other 2 teams, but would 3 way take longer to win? If so why or why not?

Answer
It depends on what you mean by "win." C will beat either of the others in a 1-on-1 contest, but will have only a slight advantage in a 3 way contest.

Assume A B and C all start 120º from the other teams. View the system from above and define your coordinate system such that A is 30º to the left of the +y axis, B is 30º to the left of the -y axis, and C lies along the +x axis. All 3 ropes meet at the intersection of the x and y axis.

When the contest begins, all 3 teams pull directly away from the origin. If you break the pulls into components using trig, A pulls 0.5 in the -x and (sqrt3)/2 in the +y. B pulls 0.5 in the -x and (sqrt3)/2 in the -y. C pulls 1.2 in the +x. This means the y direction completely cancels out and C (in the x direction) wins by 0.2. However, as the center of the rope moves towards C, the angles that A and B pull at change. A and B will always cancel eachother out as long as the intersection of the ropes lays on the X axis. The rope will stop moving when A's and B's components in the x direction completely cancel out C. Since C pulls 1.2, A and B each need to pull 0.6 to neutralize C. Knowing that the hypotenuse of A and B is 1, and the adjacent side is 0.6, you can use cosine to find the balancing angle = 53.13º above and below the x axis.

I'm sure a math person could tell you how far A and B have moved in this time, but simple sketching shows that neither has moved very far. Does this count as C winning?

So what can I do to get down to a loose fittin size 11 or 9? any suggestions?

Answer
Top weight loss tips

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. Itâs actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

Finding a pretty plus size bra?

Lil O

I'm very much blessed in the chest so to speak and I was wondering where I could find really pretty bras for a big bust? Also must be worth price.
Ive already tried Victoria Secret. I can not wear those bras.Thie cup sizes aren't high enough in most bras.

Answer
As a fellow "blessed in the chest" you need to find a custom bra shop...Not Victoria Secrets!!! They will measure you and fix you up correctly. I prefer Goddess or Cameo brands, these generally tend to aim at the larger cup and band size. I usually pay anywhere between 40-70 per bra. And surprisingly after having to wear ugly beige or white for so long now bigger bras are starting to come in pretty colors, though because of the size the styling is pretty much the same.

Good luck

Can plus size women wear strapless bras?

te

Answer
yes if there are strapless bras in your size. The band of a bra is where you get 90 percent of the support of the bra. There are strapless bras up to a size GG and band sizes up to 40. There are some brand that do long line bras. These bras are strapless and hold up well.

WHAT IS A DEMI BRA??

plezzhelpm

i need a new bra... but i want to get a good one... i keep looking at victorias secret and i keep seeing demi bra... WHAT IS A DEMI BRA!?!
they do have pictures... but to me all bras look a like... LOL... i just want to know wat it does

Answer
It's a half-cup bra, meaning that it does not cover the top half of the breast like a full-cup bra does. Generally, demi-cup bras are considered sexier because they reveal more and are great for lower cut, square-neckline tops or dresses.

For comparison, here are examples of a demi-cup bra and a full-cup bra.

Demi-cup bra: http://www.lavinialingerie.com/sheer-bra-6138.html

Full-cup bra: http://www.lavinialingerie.com/full-coverage-plus-size-bra-6372.html

Quality plus sized bras?

Missa

I'm a sexy full figured woman. I wear a size 46F bra.
Problem: I can't find any of quality in my size.
I like Demi, balcony/balconette, push up type bras. They have to be supportive and not look like something my grandmother would wear and for gosh sakes they have to last! Preferably something cheap cuz i'm not made of money here. Does anyone know of any good brands, websites, or stores that carry something that big for under $30?

Victoria's Secret Bra Question? Reviews?

BionicGURL

So I'm pretty flat around a cup, my friend suggested the Victoria's Secret bombshell bra adding 2 cup sizes? Does it really work? Any reviews? And if is were to just order it online am I the same size or should I measure myself with a thin soft measure thing ? If I were to get it, how big would I get? I don't want it for everyday but I feel self conscious sometimes and I kinda wanna feel good

Answer
for now I would recommend you to go to a VS store in person and get fitted and try their bras.
This will help you in knowing your VS size correctly and which size fits you well and is comfortable.
Sadly size are not the same amongst bra vendors.

Once you know well what size you are in VS you will feel more comfortable ordering online. For now I strongly recommend the in person visit and fitting

The bombshell bra does work though.

triple x wetsuits review?

No88oN

Does anyone know about these suits? are they good ? (for surfing)

is it true that 2mm triple x suit is equivalent to 3 or 4mm in other brands?

what about their durability?

Thanks

Answer
Hey bra. I also surf. I just looked it up the link is at the bottom.

It says that the wet suit was made for surfing but became a scuba diving wet suit. Personally it sounds vary unnecessary for surfing.

What I can tell you about the wet suit that I use: I surf in 56-58 degree water, and I have a 4:3 mm wet suit O'Neil. It depends about the water, the colder it gets the thicker you go. Know what I can tell you is that this keeps me in the water for a good 4 hours.... [I would get booties (hand gloves are for wusses) and booties if you will only stay in the water for 2 hours tops].

ALSO READ THE ARTICLE!!!!! IT LOOKS LIKE IT WOULD HELP
Also I would go with O' Niel, just cause I got a USED WET SUIT and it lasted 3 years, only 3 years because I out grew it. Wet suits will start to stretch as you use it more and more. and the most I have ever payed to patch it was $30

RECOMMENDATIONS:
- get O' NIEL-- they are super comfortable and i trust it
- get a used wet suit if worried about money.
-i would stick with a 4:3 or 4:5 and booties don't get used there like 30 bucks anyway(also have degree)

Also most of the stuff I have just told you you probably already know. but this fancy stuff. i would trust it and I'm 15 i like all this new surf stuff. A surf board is different. Wet suit cheap to patch. I think the most important thing is that it is comfortable. hope I helped. your most likely wiser than me.

If worried about taking advise from a 15 year old i have been in a wet suit since 10. NORTHERN CALIFORNIA!!!!(I love it,) any way. all my friends come to me to get advise and they get they are happy with it.....

Help! Crossdressing Questions on Bras and Clevage!?

TGirlKay

So I crossdress but I never have any clevage! I want bigger boobs so I looked it up! I found the taping your chest thing, but I don't think that will work for swim suits, I don't have man boobs either. Then I found these things: http://www.thebreastformstore.com/breast-forms-real-breasts.aspx#buy
But they are sooo expensive!! How do I make clevage? I really want to fit into a bra an not have that empty space look. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Kaylie xx
I don't think the push up bra method is good enough for me. I am a male swimmer who crossdresses... so I have a pretty toned body, so there isn't much fat in my chest area.

Answer
You could stuff your bra(i dont reccomend that if your wear a swim suit). get one of those nu bras or something like that(just google nu bra if you dont know what im talking about). theyre about $15-20(last time a checked). ive seen them on amazon for $10.

Does Adhesive bras give you clevage?

Jessy R

Does Adhesive bras work well? And do they give you cleavge?

Answer
I had an adhesive bra for my prom, and it was crap! haha. It did not produce cleavage like the box said it would, and not only that, but it barely stuck to my boobs! I don't have very large breasts so maybe that was the issue...BUT if you are going to a dance, i do not advise an adhesive bra unless you cannot wear a strapless. Another problem is that the adhesive loosens as you sweat. And at the end of the dance, my bra had not stayed in place and was very annoying. GOOD LUCK GIRL! =]

do plus size models still have fashion shows?

tamra l

do plus size models still have fashion shows or are they just commercial and print models?
I asked this because I had my IMTA (international modeling and talent agency) audition yesterday and he said that dont plan on being a model unless your the sample size, 2&4, but what about plus size girls like myself, do i still plan on modeling

Answer
The only type of fashion shows for Plus Size models might be if Lane Bryant has a fashion show in a local mall, or some other plus size label has a trunk show at Salon Z at Saks. But there is nothing like New York or Paris Fashion Week when it comes to plus size. The vast majority of plus size work is in catalogs catering to plus size or large busted women or print work.

What's the BIGGEST mistake plus sized girls make in fashion?

his love

Be specific and offer suggestions as well

Answer
I would agree with most of the above comments that plus sized women do make poor decisions when it comes to clothing sizes being too small. But in the same sense if a plus sized woman wears a "moo moo" which simply drapes over her body, then she will seem figureless and in turn look much larger than she is.
I have been heavier set for a good portion of my life, and it's hard to find trendy clothes without looking horrible in them (they just don't make plus sized clothes fashonable). But there is no reason to try to stuff yourself into a pair of pants that is to small just to look "in style"

Lany Bryant (plus sized fashion) has turned their store around in the past few years and now i love shopping in there, as they keep up with fashion as closely as they can. They came out with several new items this past month i just went crazy over.

Boot cut jeans (NOT FLARES) will help elongate and thin the leg. Even straight legged pants will help, and a darker denim if in jeans. It depends clothing wise on age i think but this is for 20-40 years old. Button up shirts that are perfectly fit that do not buckles at the chest will emphasize a large chest without clinging to any tummy a person might have. Also jackets with bullets are very in style. They should be waste length and have 3 buttons (for women with larger chests). Shoe wise, a pointed toe shoe with a long pant will help give the leg a much longer feel. Tank tops probably aren't the best bet for a plus sized woman as many are self conscious about their chests and arms and tanks provide very little coverage up top. And for skirts, anything that hits at the knee (NOT AT THE CALF) will also give a more proportional look.

But, knowing that it is hard to find clothes that wit well and are fashionable, if a plus sized woman wants both (good fit and style) then their best option is to shop at a store like Lane Bryant or any store that is customized for plus sized woman and then have something tailored to fit them perfectly. Nothing is better looking than a perfect fit, and this relates to plus sized woman as well as non plus sized women.

i went to khols to get my first one. You should try them on to find the best size.

Bra Styles
There are dozens of styles of bras to fit your taste, size and particular occasion. Finding a bra that suits you should not be a problem. Once you have figured out your bra size and bra fitting requirements, you will want to decide what role your bra will play.

Below is a comprehensive list of bra designs for you to consider:

Sports Bras: Designed to keep your breasts under control when undertaking any physical activity.
Nursing Bras: Easy access to the food source for the breastfeeding mom.
Maternity Bras: Supports daily breast growth.
Mastectomy Bras: For your post mastectomy needs.
Full Figure Bras: If you are a large-breasted woman, you will want a full-figured bra.
Bridal Bras: Support for all that cake cutting.
Underwire Bras: Torture device disguised as underwear.
Vintage Bras: Remember the pointy, stick in your eye "bullet bras" from the 40's? Or the lung-compressing corset? Well, they're back and they are just as restrictive.
Teen Bras: Designed to talk back and be surly.
Belly Dance Bras: No matter what style of belly dance you may be studying, you will definitely want a beautiful belly dance bra. Guaranteed to improve your chest rolls.
Leather Bras: If you like leather, the leather bra is one more way to get your fix.
Sexy Bras: Depends on who you ask. Many would say NONE.
Name Brand Bras: Some people only want brand names so that they can name drop at cocktail parties. But who talks about underwear at parties?

Fitting a Bra
Wearing a bra that fits is much better for your breast health. Unfortunately, more than 70% of women are wearing the wrong size of bra. Don't be one of them!

Follow these four easy steps to ensure you are shopping for your bra size:

Measurement number 1: Measure under your bust line.

Put on your best-fitting, unpadded, under wire bra. Measure underneath the bust line and make sure to measure tightly. Be sure the tape measure is straight across your back.

The general rule of thumb for all measuring is: less than ½â, round DOWN, more than a ½â, round UP. So if your measurement is 32 ¼â, call it 32. Write this number down. This is measurement number 1.

Band Size: Calculate your band size.

If measurement 1 is UNDER 33 inches, add 5 inches. If this number is odd, round up to the next EVEN number. If measurement 1 is OVER 33 inches, add 3 inches. If this number is odd, round up to the next EVEN number. Write this EVEN number down. This is your band size.

Measurement number 2: Measure over the bust line

Measure over the biggest point of your bust line. This is a looser measurement. Make sure the tape measure is straight. Write this number down. This is measurement number 2.

Cup Size: Calculate your cup size.

First subtract measurement number 1 from measurement number 2. Then consult the following chart to find your cup size.

Name Brand Bras
All bras are not created equal. A cheap, poorly made bra is as easy to come by as a cheap and poorly made pair of shoes. And as with shoes, cheap and poorly made, typically mean you feel pain and the product wears out quickly.

Remember that buying a well-made, high-quality bra will give you the best fit and performance AND reduce the frequency of bra shopping for those of you that loath that experience.

The following is a part list of well respected, name brand bra manufacturers:

Bras are an investment. Shopping takes time. Bras cost a fair chunk of change. With proper care, your bras life will be extended to last as long as possible. If you decide to machine wash your bras, always use the gentle cycle and put bras in a nylon bag, stocking or special garment bag so that certain pieces like bras won't wrap around the agitator.

In between a bra and a hard place. How do you deal with manufactures' desire for symmetry?

Felicia

I was a 34D for the longest. Then I got off birth control, lost 15 pounds and was a very nice, very cute, very happy 32D.

Well now I'm back on birth control, 10 pounds heavier and the 32D on the last hooks is too small and the 34D on the tightest fit is too big.

The worst part is, because my breast aren't symmetrical, the 32D is good on one (more of less) and the 34D is good on the other (again, more or less).

Any ideas? I know I'm not the only one experiencing this annoying lingerie peeve of trying to find both a comfortable and sexy bra. Love to see a man upset about his inconsistencies of his ball size.

Answer
Bra sizing differs from manufacturer to manufacturer. 32D Triumph bra will fit much smaller than 32 Warner Bra, while 32D Maidenform bra will fit the largest. Itâs the same as clothing and shoe size that it differs from manufacture to manufacture. I know it shouldnât but it does. You might want to try different brands in the same size.

As for bra sizing. The number 32, or 34 in your case is number that represents the size of your rib cage all around â but letâs just make it simple and say it represents your back â how wide is your back. While the letter number in your case D represents cup size. Your back size can change if you lose or gain weight. Your cup size also changes with loss or gain of weight. But taking birth control increases ONLY your cup size if you stay at the same weight. Birth control pills are charged with hormones that make the breast swell up and retain more water in their tissue.

Asymmetrical breast are actually very common. In fact most of people are slightly asymmetrical. One foot slightly bigger than other, or fingers on left and right hand differ in size. A ring that you would wear on your left hand middle finger, might not fit on your right hand middle finger. Some people have bigger difference in asymmetry others have very tiny unnoticeable difference. There are many women who facing same asymmetry issues when buying bras. My suggestion is to purchase a bra that fits well your larger breast, and compensate for the lack of volume in the other cup by adding a small tiny padding into the bra. It will even out the look. Bra padding comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. You donât need to get any huge bulky pad. Just a small crest moon shape bra insert. Some bras come with pockets where you can insert padding. In that case you can remove the insert form your larger breast cup, and keep the insert only in the smaller breast cup.

Go out to a store that carries variety of bra brands, or go to a mall where there are several lingerie stores, and try on the same size 34D by different manufacturers. Iâm sure you will find that perfect bra. Itâs just a bit of time and patience. Once you will find a brand that works for you, you might want to stick with them.

My motto is: A girl should have a good quality bra regardless whatever the cost is, even if her t-shirt cost $5. That $5 t-shirt can look like million dollars if you are wearing a right bra underneath. Good bra makes a difference how all your clothes hangs on you. It even has an effect on your posture ï

How do i measure my Bra cup size?

.:*:.Falle

Answer
STEP 1: BAND SIZE

Measure under your arms, high on your back, across the top of your chest. If this measurement is an even number, this is your band size. If an odd number, add 1" to determine your band size. STEP 2: CUP SIZE

Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Next, subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement; each inch represents a cup size. For example: if your band measurement is 34" and your bust measurement is 36", the difference between these measurements is two inches, and you'd wear a B-cup.

How do you measure bra cup size volume?

Q. I know how to measure for the number but not exactly sure for cup size I want to know what bra size cup I need? Please help

Answer
First measure directly under your breast for your waist/band size. (36)
Then measure at the fullest part of your breast for the bust size. (40)

Subtract the band size from the bust size.
Then subtract 40-36 = 4.

The difference is the cup size.
Cup size is the number in alphabetical order

A=1
B=2
C=3
D=4
DD/E = 5
F/DDD = 6
G = 7
H= 8
and so on.

is it bad to sleep in a bra?

lalalalala

like will you get brest cancer? that's what i've heard but i'm not sure if it's true. i sometimes sleep in a sports bra, is that alright? thank yaa(:

Answer
No. It is just a myth.

Wiki Answer:

According to The American Cancer Society, American Breast Cancer Society, and BreastCancer.org,(see reference links at the bottom of the page), wearing a bra, at day, night or both, will not give you breast cancer, although they have no scientific research to support their claim. In fact, there has not been any research to date that refutes the link between breast cancer and bras, and these organizations have shown no interest in pursuing this needed research. However, a Harvard study in 1991 did show bra-free women had a lower rate of breast cancer than bra wearing women. And a medical anthropological study published in 1995 suggested bras are the leading cause of breast cancer. The proposed method for bras causing breast cancer (the build up of "toxins" due to constriction) has been called impluasible by the American Cancer Society, although many health care practitioners find it highly plausible. In fact, cancer and lymphatic experts advise women not to wear tight bras because it can impair lymphatic drainage from the arms and chest and cause lymphedema.
Some other factors that increase your risk of breast cancer are:
Sex: Women are much more likely to get breast cancer than men.
Age: the chances of getting breast cancer increase with age, especially after 65.
Race: After age 35, White women are more likely to get breast cancer than Black women, but Black women who get breast cancer are more likely to die from it.
Family history: certain inherited genetic mutations (BRCA1 and/or BRCA2) increase the risk. Even without those genes, having a grandmother, mother, sister, or daughter diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer also increases the risk.
A woman who has previously had breast, ovarian, endometrial, or colon cancer is more likely to get breast cancer.
A woman who has had LCIS or certain other breast conditions such as atypical hyperplasia is more likely to get breast cancer.
High levels of radiation to the chest area (for treatment of lymphoma, for example) can increase the risk.
High bone density levels after menopause can increase the risk.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding history: never having children, having a first pregnancy after age 30, and never breastfeeding each increases the risk.
Menstrual history: Beginning menstruation at age 12 or younger, and/or having menopause after age 55 increases the risk of breast cancer.
Postmenopausal obesity increases the risk.
History of hormone use, including contraceptives and menopausal hormone replacement increases the risk.
Alcohol consumption: women who drink an average of only 1 alcoholic drink per day increase their risk of breast cancer by approximately 7%.
Physical inactivity increases risk.
Exposure to tobacco smoke increases breast cancer risk.

Ill-fitting bras are uncomfortable, but I don't believe they damage breasts. I have had material wear down and been stabbed by underwires a few times, and that hurts. No permanent damage though.

Is there a bra that will lift and give me support without the underwire?

birdlady

I hate those underwires. They poke me alot and they eventually come out in the wash. But I need something. I'm a 42DD so I need some kind of lift. Help.

Answer
sorry no. at 42DD you absolutely need the wire for support purposes alone. if the wires poke you, you may be wearing the incorrect style. If it fit you properly you shouldn't really notice the wires at all. go for a bra fitting at a place like nordstroms or other department store.

What is a good supportive bra for sizes 38C and 40D?

Samantha

I need something to LIFT and SUPPORT. Please help me find a bra that won't make my back hurt!

Answer
Okay, back pain from bras is frequently a result of the wrong size bra, although a good quality one is also good. Most of the support of the bra should come from the band, not the straps. You may get some red marks on your skin from the bra band (same as you would from underwear or pants) but it shouldn't hurt, although it may feel tight. You probably need to go up a cupsize or two and down a bandsize. So, a 36DD or 36DDD or even a 34DDD or 34DDDD (also called a 34G in US sizing, 34FF in UK) might be a good idea. I also had problems with back pain and I had dark bruises where my bra straps were, until I got the right size.

I recommend you get professionally fitted. http://www.myintimacy.com/ has a nice finder for bra-fitting places in the US, and the intimacy stores themselves are wonderful (that's where I finally got a perfectly fitting bra and they have nice looking ones in unusual sizes as well). Nordstroms is supposed to have god bra fitting, although I found that they didn't get it quite right, although it was close enough to mostly eliminate back pain.

My personal favorite for bras in large cup sizes is a brand called Freya, although I've heard that Fantasie and Panache are also excellent. They are a bit pricey, but you can try to get them on sale or on ebay (there are a lot of new bras on ebay). You can try to self-fit by looking for bra-fitting guides online, and ordering bras and sending them back, if you cannot get fitted. (don't use ebay for that one though). If you are wearing the wrong size, you may not be able to find the correct size, or many bras in the correct size, very easily. (Most stores don't actually carry my size). This community gives a lot of advice on finding bras for unusual sizes. http://community.livejournal.com/thirty_twod/

Don't think going up a cup size or more is absurd. The volume of breast in a 32G = 34F = 36E = 38D = 40C. So it doesn't look absurd at all. Actually, wearing the right bra size, aside from alleviating back pain, also makes you look slimmer. Oh, be aware that most of the good large cup bras are from the UK, and use a slightly different sizing scheme. It's easy to find online though, just be aware of that when buying.

When you actually wear the right size, it at first feels oddly tight, but you get used to it in a few days, and then it becomes so much more comfortable than the old bras. Just try to get fitted, because the first venture into the world of properly sized bras can be rough otherwise.

Best of Luck!

Bustier or adhesive bra?

MC

My wedding dress is clingy, especially around the torso. And it has a low back.

I also need some oomph in the bustline to fill it out. Sewn in bra cups don't work very well and are slightly visible.

So I need a bustier that is smooth/seamless, low-backed, and push-up. Does something like that actually exist?

Also are the sticky bras a better option?

Here is my dress:

I've seen halter style low back bras that would fill the bill - you would have to have the straps attached to the straps of the dress so that they don't show.

Women only, bras questions?

Q. So, I am only 12 years old girl so I still have a lot more to learn. But I have a couple of questions about bras.

1.) What does a cup size mean?
2.) What does it mean when people says like 34A or 34C etc.?
3.) What does it mean when people says DD or DDD for bra size? Are those bras size really big or really small?
4.) What does it mean when a bra says something like 32/70?
5.) What letter is bigger than the others when talking about bra size (A,B,C or D even if there are G)?

And please don't answer something like why don't you ask your mom or sisters, because I feel uncomfortable talking to them about this. This is a much better way for me.
and what is the smallest bra size possible and the biggest bra size possible?

Answer
The number is how many inches around your chest is (right underneath your breasts). The letter is your cup size.

A is the smallest, then B, C, D, DD, DDD, E, and it just gets bigger from there! A C-cup is probably about average, D is big, DD is really big, and DDD is huge! Most women who have breasts bigger than a DDD are very overweight, but some have breasts that big and are skinny (they usually wind up having bad back problems, very painful).

So 34A would mean that the person is 34 inches around the chest, and her cup size is A, so she's somewhat flat-chested.

32/70 is where, instead of a letter cup size, they measure inches around. So if you wear a 32/70 bra, you are 32 inches around underneath the breasts, and then 70 inches around the chest INCLUDING your breasts. It's just another way to measure.

Most people use letter-cups.

Smallest bra size possible would be the bra size a woman is before she develops her breasts, probably a training bra. It means she has no cup size, and is completely flat, like a man.

The largest bra size possible is impossible to tell, you probably won't meet many average-sized people who are bigger than a DD, but theoretically there is no real limit to how large breasts can get. People can get surgery to make them bigger and bigger, or people who are morbidly obese will gain weight in their breasts as well.

Answer
The best thing your gf can do is remeasure herself and make sure of her bra size. A 42 brand size would fit best on a woman with a 41-43 inch waists. She would be overweight.

Girls only: bra question?

How come I...well...show through my sports bra? None of my other friends do but you can see everything. I even have to wear a regular bra under it to prevent this and it makes me very self conscious. Why does this happen? None of my friends have this problem? I just want to be able to wear a regular sports bra.
Sarah-- what are you talking about?

Answer
most girls (or at least most girls i know) usually wear a regular bra underneath anyway, so maybe that's why none of your friends show through.

Why do women, and girls, wear bras?

<3

I know, I know, to make their boobs look bigger, or to "support" or to feel more comfortable when excersicing.

But why? I know that some people wear a bra just to cover their nipples.

And then others think it prevents sagging.

I was told that if you dont wear a bra, those pervs out there, want to rape you more.

I feel like this whole thing is cause by society.

Everybody has them, so whats the big deal?

I know this seems like I'm just some little kid who doesnt like wearing bras, (which I dont want to anyway), but why, why do women even wear them?

I read on multiple sites that wearing bra's might increase your chance of getting breast cancer.
And also, that bras weaken the ligaments in the breasts. Causing saggy.

Ok for one, I think that bras do not prevent sagging. I'm getting tired of that. Even my own mother thinks that and shes like 40.
But, why?

I'm being forced to wear a bra, or I cant go out in public.

And if I dont wear a bra in public, I get things taken away from me.

Why? My own mother thinks that it prevents sagging. Really?

Look at the women who wear bra's, their sagging anyway.

This annoys me. Its MY body. I even said that to my mom. She doesnt care.

That really pisses me off. That should be my choice, she doesnt buy me tank tops. I've said that and I asked why, and she said she only buy's me cami's because they have a built in bra. I shouldnt have to wear a bra. Its not like, I'm a C, or a D. The only time I get to go bra-less is at home.

Answer
I feel for you when you are forced to wear a bra. I have been braless for years. There is a lot of peer pressure on girls to wear bras and then of course mothers. i don't understand why women wear bras.it does not prevent sagging, bras increase the risk for breast cancer, nevertheless we get pushed into wearing bras. I guess it is because some people can make money and they don't care about our health. Tell your mum that if she insists on you wearing a bra she must take out an insurance for breast cancer for you because it will her fault. visit www.brafree.prg for a lot of info on the bad things of bras. perhaps your mum can read it as well. Go as often as you can braless, or take them off soon after you have left home so your mum doesn't see it. Good luck

How to measure bra size?

Cockatiel

How do you measure bra size with a tape measure

Answer
First, measure your band size, the part directly under your bust [EX: 26]. Do not add more than 2 or 3 inches to this measurement [EX: 28]. Next, measure at the fullest part of your bust. Usually across the nipples [EX:32]. Take your bust measurement and subtract your band measurement from it [EX: 32-28=4]. The inches difference would be the cup size. Thus, resulting in a bra size of 28D.

A cup=1 inch
B cup=2 inch
C cup=3 inch
D cup=4inch
and so on...

Tips to help on bra fitting:

I need help measuring my bra size.?

Annyo

I measured my bust and it's 30 inches, then I measured beneath my bust and it's 28 inches. What is my bra size?
I forgot to mention that I do not fit in any AA cups and I can barely make some of the A cups work. So, I've been having trouble with my size.
I do not fit in a 32 A....

Answer
To best measure your bra size its best to do it with your bra off. Go into the bathroom, and use a soft measuring tape. Like the type tailors use, not the hard type constructors and plumbers use. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of bust. For me and most other women this is usually right across the nipples. Make sure it is fitting naturally around your bust and not too tight nor too loose. Remember this number. This is the CUP size. Now, measure right underneath your bust. Some people say to do it on top of the bust but I like to do it underneath. Measure underneath your bust and remember this number as well. This is the BAND size. Now, subtract the BAND size from your CUP size. If the difference is:

0 inches--AA cup
1 inch--A cup-
2 inches--B cup
3 inches--C cup
4 inches--D cup.......so on and so forth.

Then you take your band size measurement and apply it towards your band size. For example your bust was 30 and your band was 28 so you seem to be a 28 B. However, 28 is a rather small band size. The smallest band you will probably find in most places is a 32. 32 should work just fine and shouldnt be much of a difference. I would go try on some 32 B size bras and let me know how they fit!

Can plus size women wear strapless bras?

te

Answer
yes if there are strapless bras in your size. The band of a bra is where you get 90 percent of the support of the bra. There are strapless bras up to a size GG and band sizes up to 40. There are some brand that do long line bras. These bras are strapless and hold up well.

run baby run song?

Q. A song that is rock/pop (not sheryl crow or garbage) and is a male band, chorus has a line that goes "run baby run"
Any ideas?

Answer
Check Yes Juliet by We The Kings

Great song, in my opinion =)

Lyrics:

Check yes Juliet, are you with me?
Rain is falling down on the sidewalk
I wonât go until you come outside
Check yes Juliet, kill the limbo
Iâll keep tossing rocks at your window
Thereâs no turning back for us tonight

Lace up your shoes (ay oh, ay oh)
Hereâs how we do
Run, baby, run
Donât ever look back
Theyâll tear us apart if you give them the chance (give them the chance)
Donât sell your heart
Donât say weâre not meant to be
Run, baby, run
Forever weâll be
You and me

Check yes Juliet, Iâll be waiting
Wishing, wanting, yours for the taking
Just sneak out and donât tell a soul goodbye
Check yes Juliet, hereâs the countdown
3-2-1, now fall in my arms now
They can change the locks, donât let them change your mind

Lace up your shoes (ay oh, ay oh)
Hereâs how we do
Run, baby, run
Donât ever look back
Theyâll tear us apart if you give them the chance (give them the chance)
Donât sell your heart
Donât say weâre not meant to be
Run, baby, run
Forever weâll be
You and me

Weâre flying through the night
Weâre flying through the night
Way up high
The view from here is getting better with you by my side

Run, baby, run
Donât ever look back
Theyâll tear us apart if you give them the chance
Donât sell your heart
Donât say weâre not meant to be
Run, baby, run
Forever weâll be

Run, baby, run
Donât ever look back
Theyâll tear us apart if you give them the chance (give them the chance)
Donât sell your heart
Donât say weâre not meant to be
Run, baby, run
Forever weâll be
You and me

You and me
You and me

Running Songs?

Q. Okay I'm looking for really upbeat songs that will get me pumped. Stuff like *Milkshake* *Pass that Dutch* etc*.
Nothing *rock* or anything like that. I'm looking for fast speed upbeat stuff.

Answer
This is what I run to: "Never Never" by Brick & Lace, "Perfect Day" by Hoku, "Solider" & "Different Now" by Out of Eden, and various songs by Boys Like Girls, Cross Movement, Grits, Superchic(k), Toby Mac, & Disciple. I got some great cds from FCAgear.com, called Pump'd and Pump'd 2. Also the cd "Drew's Famous Sport Jams" by the Hit Crew is very good.

This is also a play list I found in Shape magazine:
- "Everybody Got Their Something" by Nikka Costa
- "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" by The Police
- "Get on Top" by Red Hot Chili Peppers
- "Fighting" by Yellowcard (I liked this one)
- "Talk to Ya Later" by The Tubes
- "I'm Ready" Jack's Mannequin (and I like this one)
- "Are You In" Incubus
- "Friday I'm In Love" The Cure

Also, you can go to iTunes in the iMix section and then the Sport iMix section and find a bunch more songs. Or go to nikeplus.com, they have some.

How do players do those streetball moves?

Chris Muri

I've seen a lot of tapes of Rafer Alston playing streetball and passing it to himself from behind peoples heads and through their legs. I've also seen Philip Champion aka hot sauce do many of these moves and more. How do they pass between peoples legs and back to themselves? And how did hot sauce get those crazy handles? I know sometimes they carry, but I still want to be able to do those moves.

Answer
Some moves are done by just spinning the ball, and how to get handles, same way you get good at basketball, practise lol. Just check up the moves you like, practise them, ad your own stuff and style and voila.
