So if a guy takes off your bra..?

Natalie

If a guy takes off your bra and you're wearing a pushup bra, wouldn't he be like uhh why is there ten inches of padding in this? I'm just wondering because ALL of the cute bras at victoria's secret are push up. I have one push up bra but I wouldn't wear it if I knew anyone would seeee that it was a push up bra, you know what I mean? Just wondering if this is actually acceptable to a guy...
Yeah I was thinking the same thing as that girl.. like feeling through the bra.. wouldn't that be wierd!?

Answer
k well, if a guy is taking your bra off, he's to busy being like "YEAA!!! SCORE!" then thinking about why theres so much pading in a push up bra,

cute bras ?

Q. does any one know where i can find a bra in a size 34 D i can not seem to find a cute demi cup 34 D any where

Answer
I'm a 36 D and it seems like almost every cute bra I find only goes up to a 38 C, and if it does go up bigger, it offers little to no support. Victoria's Secret has quite a number of different styles with some cute patterns involved. Try there first off, but if that's too expensive, go to somewhere like a Goody's. They have really cute bra's in D cups where I live.

Physics of 3 way tug-o-war?

Cato

Some friends and I were having a debate after seeing a mountain dew commecial with 3 way tug-o-war. Basically the question at the bottom of our debate is this: If there are 3 teams--A,B,C-- Strength of A=1 Strength of B=1 Strength of C=1.2 then would it be different than just team A vs C in 2 way tug-o-war? Obviously team C should win both 3 way & 2 way against either of the other 2 teams, but would 3 way take longer to win? If so why or why not?

Answer
It depends on what you mean by "win." C will beat either of the others in a 1-on-1 contest, but will have only a slight advantage in a 3 way contest.

Assume A B and C all start 120º from the other teams. View the system from above and define your coordinate system such that A is 30º to the left of the +y axis, B is 30º to the left of the -y axis, and C lies along the +x axis. All 3 ropes meet at the intersection of the x and y axis.

When the contest begins, all 3 teams pull directly away from the origin. If you break the pulls into components using trig, A pulls 0.5 in the -x and (sqrt3)/2 in the +y. B pulls 0.5 in the -x and (sqrt3)/2 in the -y. C pulls 1.2 in the +x. This means the y direction completely cancels out and C (in the x direction) wins by 0.2. However, as the center of the rope moves towards C, the angles that A and B pull at change. A and B will always cancel eachother out as long as the intersection of the ropes lays on the X axis. The rope will stop moving when A's and B's components in the x direction completely cancel out C. Since C pulls 1.2, A and B each need to pull 0.6 to neutralize C. Knowing that the hypotenuse of A and B is 1, and the adjacent side is 0.6, you can use cosine to find the balancing angle = 53.13º above and below the x axis.

I'm sure a math person could tell you how far A and B have moved in this time, but simple sketching shows that neither has moved very far. Does this count as C winning?

What is a good way o lose weight?

Q. I am a size 17 and would like to get down to a 9/11 sometime soon.. I have tried dieting (im 16). So what can I do to get down to a loose fittin size 11 or 9? any suggestions?

Answer
Top weight loss tips

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It’s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

* Be in right frame of mind
Before you can start any diet program you need to be in the right frame of mind. If you do not feel good about yourself you probably will not want to choose healthy foods. You cannot expect the act of going on a diet to make you feel better about yourself. The only way you can choose to eat a healthy diet to lose weight is if you have a positive self-image.

* Eat whole food
Top weight loss tips
Eat whole foods that are as natural as possible. When you eat whole foods that are full of nutrients your body will know how much to eat and how much not to eat. You do not have to count calories because your body is a wonderful machine.

* Eat fresh fruit
Eat at least two servings of fresh fruit every day. Choose whatever type of fruit is in season.

* Drink enough water
Drink the best weight loss supplement known to man, water. Most people do not know the difference from being hungry for food or thirsty for water. A great deal of times people eat when they should drink. Most likely you will not feel as hungry if you are getting enough water. You will be satisfying the thirst, which is confused for hunger. Water also helps you digest food better. Drinking water before you eat will help fill you up.

* Always chew your food
Always chew your food well. Chewing your food well will ensure that you get the most nutrients out of your food. Getting the most nutrients will satisfy your body therefore you will eat less. Another benefit of chewing well is that it helps aid in digestion.

* Take small meals
Eat small, frequent meals in a day. Large meals tax your digestion system, making it work harder. Taking too much time in between meals makes you hungrier for the next meal.

* Include protein at meal
Include good sources of protein at meal, chicken, fish, legumes, peanut, cottage cheese, eggs or yogurt.

* Shut off TV while eating
Shut off the TV whenever you eat – that includes meals and snacks. Studies show that we automatically eat larger portions when we snack in front of the tube, and typically those foods are high in fat and sugar, which means excess calories!

* Increase your physical activity
Increase your physical activity. Most people are over weight because of a lack of physical activity. Start walking more, bicycling, walks your dog for longer periods of time, swim, dance and leave the car at home when you can. It’s important that you choose a physical activity that you enjoy because you’ll stick with it.

Is it alright to wear sports bras all the time? HELP?

whatever

I am a B cup and I find that sports bras are more comfortable than normal bras....I wear the compression type. However, would wearing sports bras all the time cause sagging? Are underwire or pushup bras the only supportive kind of bras?

Answer
Sports bras are for sports so unless you are playing basketball or running 24/7 I would suggest you go to a place like Victoria's Secret and get some help with being fitted for a bra that will offer support. You don't want your boobs smashed flat all the time or they will become saggy. I know sports bras are more comfortable but you can get used to underwire or push up bras. I know a lot of younger girls start out wearing sports bras but really it's a bad habit to get into. Good luck. :)

How do I sew a customized bra?

Q. How to sew a customized bra

Answer
Bra making is a very satisfying and rewarding hobby and there are many stores that cater to the home bra-maker. They carry everything from patterns to special fabrics and all the little hooks, clasps, and other hardware you will need. You can't make a bra without proper instructions and patterns, bras are surprisingly complex. You don not need a serger or expensive sewing machine, a machine that does straight, zig zag and three step zig zag is all you need.

Here are a couple sites that have everything the beginner bra maker needs:
http://bramakerssupply.com/
http://www.sewsassy.com/index.shtml
Here's a series of lessons on how to make a bra by using one you own for the pattern: http://www.andsewitis.net/braclass/class_start.html
and here's a book I have that has everything you ever wanted to know about making bras: http://www.bramakersmanual.com/

And that should get you started. If you need a custom size making a bra can actually save money.

how is a bra supposed to fit?

Q. is a bra supposed to fit completely over your breast??? also wat age do u reccomend to start wearing a bra?/

Answer
well bras are supposed to be loose and comfortable... not to tight. it depends on what kind of a bra you have. push up bras will not cover all your breast.

i started wearing a bra when i was 8-9. (i developed really quickly)!!

The 36a was way to big in the cup size but kinda tight all the way around. The 34 a was perfect in cup size but to big all the way around! Is that noraml?.And i don't like having a huge cup size.Ive tried LImited 2,wal mat,and target. And im sick of traing bras!!!!!!!!!!! I need a real bra!
Please Help!!!! I think bras suck!!!!
but some of them are kinda cute and i really need one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer
Okay, the numbers don't have anything to do with the cup size, it's the straps. So don't worry about "having a huge cup size".

LOL, when I got my first real bra I was about 11 in a 34a. Within about a year I went from that to a 34c. I was soo embarrassed because all the girls where still flat chested and guys looked at me funny. But now I'm over it. But I still won't wear a polo shirt. :] What I'm trying to say, you won't be very comfortable at first, but you'll learn to accept it. I hated wearing them, but in a few months time, I hated not wearing them.

I know bra shopping can be very frustrating. I hate it too. You are definitely not alone on that.

Push up bras for FF cup size?

Q. I'm 19 and I'm a 38FF as of last year. I'm pretty sure I've grown as my bras have all either ripped in the middle or the back. my bra doesn't even touch my chest underneath my breasts anymore. they're very heavy and uncomfortable so I need support as well but I don't want an ugly bra. I'm looking for something sexy that pushes(and keeps) my girls up. also if anyone knows of good bathing suits for my cup size?

Answer
brastop.com specifically caters to D-K and 28-46 bands. I checked it myself and they carry many bras and swimwear in your size. I've heard many good things about Freya's Deco bra and it goes up to GG I believe. You can find it in other online places like http://www.bravissimo.com/ and http://www.herroom.com/

Since you said you've grown, it might be a good idea to double-check your size so use this guide for a rough idea: http://www.thinandcurvy.com/2010/10/how-to-measure-your-bra-size-correct.html

While nothing beats trying on bras, it might be hard to find something in your size to try on and it's hard to find a place that measures correctly. Mainstream stores like Victoria's Secret, La Senza, etc. are terrible at fitting and they carry an extremely narrow range of sizes.

Guys--Is a bra size 32B too small?

R

Here's an example of a 32B: http://www.gemzies.com/upload/page_thumb/anna_kournikova_bikini_portrait.jpg

That's what I am. I was thinking of getting a boob job to become either a 32C or 32D. Here's some more examples:

32C: http://media.egotvonline.com/files/2009/12/teri-hatcher.jpg

32D: http://thestarceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/amy-winehouse-boobs.jpg

Please don't judge on the actual girl, judge on the breast size. Which is more appealing to you?

Answer
32B is a nice medium size on a petite body. But even if you're not petite, most guys *hate* fake breasts. There's an unnatural shape to them, they tend to have little or no sensation which takes a lot of the fun out of them (for the guy and woman), etc. Small and natural always beats big and fake.

Guys also have doubts about the confidence levels of a woman who would go and get fake breasts; it's just not a good statement about her personality, and IMO will attract the wrong sort of guy in terms of stable, long term relationships.

(Natural) larger breasts can be fun, and I won't lie and say Terri Hatcher's aren't nice. And I've seen some great 32D and 32DDs too, though I don't count Amy Winehouse among them because those are fake. (natural 32DD: http://tinyurl.com/yklhvnm )

But the best look for you is almost certainly to stick with what nature gave you. Be confident and enjoy the advantages of smaller breasts--you can get away with going braless once and a while, and they tend to be more sensitive than larger ones (even natural larger ones). And if you ever are in a position to try going topless at the beach, you'll find it favors small and medium breasts, since large ones tend to look best in a supportive bra/top.

Why do guys wanna know my bra size ?

It's so stupid I rather have them stare at my boobs then ask that so annoying

Answer
What guys say: What is your bra size?
What guys mean: I want to have sex with you, and if you tell me what I want to know that means you want to have sex with me

It doesn't matter if you like the guy or not any guy that talks like this without knowing you should get a slap to the face.

D cups Push Up Bras?

Q. Should I wear a push up bra even though I have a bra size of 34 D? Or would it just be like "Overkill! Too much boobage."?

Answer
Well it depends on what sort of clothing you're wearing with the bra...I personally understand you because I'm a 34D..sometimes DD...usually when I wear a top that has a plunge to the bosom...i wear a normal D cup that still gives ample support...instead of a push up...but if you decide to where a top that say a button up shirt...or doesn't have a deep plunge then definitely wear a push up...but make sure your breast fills it up and doesn't show that sort of jiggle...I always wear vest or tank tops with all my tops because it brings a smoothness...especially with shirts or jerseys...Hope this helps

best pushup bra?

Laura

I have really small boobs... what's the best pushup bra out there?? I have a Wonderbra right now but it's two years old and I need a new good bra. I need something that's a good shape with a lot of push-up.

Answer
Instead of a push-up bra, I'd recommend these things called Breast Enhancers. They look kinda like breast implants and they are made out of silicone. Victoria's Secret carries them but they are super expensive there. I found them in this catalog called Harriet Carter or www.harrietcarter.com . It's item # E(or F)5504 and they are called Breast Enhancers. They increase your bra cup size by 1 1/2 -2 cup sizes. They are only $19.99 plus shipping and handling (roughly $26) and they fit in any bra. They really adhere to your skin well so you don't have to worry about them falling out (though I wouldn't do sports with them). Experiment with different bras. You'd probably want to get a "C" cup with them and don't get a padded bra when you wear them or it'll look way too obvious. I like them 'cause they look very natural (they even have nipples incase you wear a sheerer type bra and top) and if a guy cops a feel (lol!), he won't be grabbing a bunch of padding. Seriously though, TONS of women wear them. We call them "cutlets". If you don't want to go that route though and prefer a good push-up bra, I'd recommend Victoria's Secret Infinity Edge bras that are filled with gel or the newest push-up bra that has air pockets instead of padding or gel. It's called The Angels Air Push-Up bra. I'd get the Strapless convertible that you can wear a zillion ways. Another one of my favorites is the Very Sexy Low-cut strapless convertible with the Infinity Edge that comes with the cool clear straps. Keep in mind that these bras are atleast $45! You can get good push-up bras just about anywhere now. I noticed that T.J. Maxx has tons of name brand padded and push-up bras especially in "A" cups. Some are normally like $60 bras and they are only like $8 there! Target has some cool push-ups too. You definitely need a good bra after two years though! I recommend replacing bras every year especially if you wear them atleast several times a year. And make sure you take good care of them. ALWAYS wash them in Woolite. The washing machine really ruins them and the dryer is even worse! I'm going to suggest something else and don't get upset because I did it. Have you considered implants? Well, if you are under 18, don't think about it until you are atleast 18. They are really affordable now and you can make payments. I got mine 'cause my boobs were different sizes. One was a large "A" and the other a large "B". I'm now a large "C" or a small "D". I still wear padded bras or enhancers though 'cause I still want bigger breasts! It's sad but our society just keeps telling us that you have to have big boobs to be sexy, don't they? You know what? I take that back! Don't get implants! I mean, unless you are totally miserable and it'd improve your self-esteem tremendously. I guess surveys had shown that men prefer real boobs but if that's true, why are they drooling over girls with fake boobs like in Playboy, right? It's a big decision. There are pros and cons. If you ever decide to do it, really research! Find a doctor that is fully certified and ask to speak to some of his patients (they do that!) and see before and after photos. Check with the Board to make sure that he/she is ceritfied. If you have any doubts, don't do it. On the otherhand, I think small boobs can be really cute and I have met guys that like boobs in all sizes and shapes. Plus, you can wear cute string bikinis, I can't, I fall out of them! Smaller busted girls look much cuter in string bikinis! Well, I hope I helped. Check out Victoria's Secret website for all the newest bras and don't discount the other stores I mentioned!!! BEST OF LUCK!

Q. i am fourteen.....and a little overweight. i like the sound of the ahh bra/ genie bra because their is no painful underwire. i wanted to know has anyone got it before i spend my money on it and also i am a small cup size....so if you could help that would be great

Answer
Are you sure of your bra size. most women in the Ah bra commercials look like they aren't wearing the right bra. http://confessionsofacurvygirl.wordpress.com/2011/08/10/how-to-measure-yourself-to-know-what-your-bra-size-is/

What can attract the overweight women in lingerie?

July H

Answer
The personality of a human being is defined by the clothes. The role of outfits becomes more important in the case of women. They are considered as more fashion conscious than the men. Lingerie is the innermost garments used by women. Unlike earlier, now a number of branded under garment products have come into the markets and they are available in different shapes & sizes. The big size lingerie was not available for the overweight women in the past. Now, many companies have understood the need of such products and therefore they are coming up with the stylish and fashionable under garments for women.

A very common notion is that only thin and slim woman can look beautiful and therefore the obese and heavier ladies are dying hard to loose weight so that they could also enhance their personality. Such women face a lot of difficulties in wearing the normal size bras and panties. The big size lingerie brings a solution to them since these garment items are not only comfortable but also have great designs. One can find a number of companies that produce the big size underwear items for obese women. The plus size lingerie produced by these companies is very popular in the UK. The products made under this category are the extra large in size and excellent in design. These products are designed by the renowned designers so that the customers could get the high quality undergarments. In fact, these items can be seen in different fashion shows where the models endorse the latest female undergarments like bras, panties and many more. Such underwear items are giving delight to the women who are overweight......

Is there a bra that will lift and give me support without the underwire?

birdlady

I hate those underwires. They poke me alot and they eventually come out in the wash. But I need something. I'm a 42DD so I need some kind of lift. Help.

Answer
sorry no. at 42DD you absolutely need the wire for support purposes alone. if the wires poke you, you may be wearing the incorrect style. If it fit you properly you shouldn't really notice the wires at all. go for a bra fitting at a place like nordstroms or other department store.

What is a good supportive bra for sizes 38C and 40D?

I need something to LIFT and SUPPORT. Please help me find a bra that won't make my back hurt!

Answer
Okay, back pain from bras is frequently a result of the wrong size bra, although a good quality one is also good. Most of the support of the bra should come from the band, not the straps. You may get some red marks on your skin from the bra band (same as you would from underwear or pants) but it shouldn't hurt, although it may feel tight. You probably need to go up a cupsize or two and down a bandsize. So, a 36DD or 36DDD or even a 34DDD or 34DDDD (also called a 34G in US sizing, 34FF in UK) might be a good idea. I also had problems with back pain and I had dark bruises where my bra straps were, until I got the right size.

I recommend you get professionally fitted. http://www.myintimacy.com/ has a nice finder for bra-fitting places in the US, and the intimacy stores themselves are wonderful (that's where I finally got a perfectly fitting bra and they have nice looking ones in unusual sizes as well). Nordstroms is supposed to have god bra fitting, although I found that they didn't get it quite right, although it was close enough to mostly eliminate back pain.

My personal favorite for bras in large cup sizes is a brand called Freya, although I've heard that Fantasie and Panache are also excellent. They are a bit pricey, but you can try to get them on sale or on ebay (there are a lot of new bras on ebay). You can try to self-fit by looking for bra-fitting guides online, and ordering bras and sending them back, if you cannot get fitted. (don't use ebay for that one though). If you are wearing the wrong size, you may not be able to find the correct size, or many bras in the correct size, very easily. (Most stores don't actually carry my size). This community gives a lot of advice on finding bras for unusual sizes. http://community.livejournal.com/thirty_twod/

Don't think going up a cup size or more is absurd. The volume of breast in a 32G = 34F = 36E = 38D = 40C. So it doesn't look absurd at all. Actually, wearing the right bra size, aside from alleviating back pain, also makes you look slimmer. Oh, be aware that most of the good large cup bras are from the UK, and use a slightly different sizing scheme. It's easy to find online though, just be aware of that when buying.

When you actually wear the right size, it at first feels oddly tight, but you get used to it in a few days, and then it becomes so much more comfortable than the old bras. Just try to get fitted, because the first venture into the world of properly sized bras can be rough otherwise.

Best of Luck!

I asked this because I had my IMTA (international modeling and talent agency) audition yesterday and he said that dont plan on being a model unless your the sample size, 2&4, but what about plus size girls like myself, do i still plan on modeling

Answer
The only type of fashion shows for Plus Size models might be if Lane Bryant has a fashion show in a local mall, or some other plus size label has a trunk show at Salon Z at Saks. But there is nothing like New York or Paris Fashion Week when it comes to plus size. The vast majority of plus size work is in catalogs catering to plus size or large busted women or print work.

What's the BIGGEST mistake plus sized girls make in fashion?

Be specific and offer suggestions as well

Answer
I would agree with most of the above comments that plus sized women do make poor decisions when it comes to clothing sizes being too small. But in the same sense if a plus sized woman wears a "moo moo" which simply drapes over her body, then she will seem figureless and in turn look much larger than she is.
I have been heavier set for a good portion of my life, and it's hard to find trendy clothes without looking horrible in them (they just don't make plus sized clothes fashonable). But there is no reason to try to stuff yourself into a pair of pants that is to small just to look "in style"

Lany Bryant (plus sized fashion) has turned their store around in the past few years and now i love shopping in there, as they keep up with fashion as closely as they can. They came out with several new items this past month i just went crazy over.

Boot cut jeans (NOT FLARES) will help elongate and thin the leg. Even straight legged pants will help, and a darker denim if in jeans. It depends clothing wise on age i think but this is for 20-40 years old. Button up shirts that are perfectly fit that do not buckles at the chest will emphasize a large chest without clinging to any tummy a person might have. Also jackets with bullets are very in style. They should be waste length and have 3 buttons (for women with larger chests). Shoe wise, a pointed toe shoe with a long pant will help give the leg a much longer feel. Tank tops probably aren't the best bet for a plus sized woman as many are self conscious about their chests and arms and tanks provide very little coverage up top. And for skirts, anything that hits at the knee (NOT AT THE CALF) will also give a more proportional look.

But, knowing that it is hard to find clothes that wit well and are fashionable, if a plus sized woman wants both (good fit and style) then their best option is to shop at a store like Lane Bryant or any store that is customized for plus sized woman and then have something tailored to fit them perfectly. Nothing is better looking than a perfect fit, and this relates to plus sized woman as well as non plus sized women.

How can I measure my bra size?

Q. I know I'm a 36B because that's the only size that seems to fit now. I just tried measuring my band and cup size and I'm really confused. Any tips?

Answer
International Bra Size Calculator

85b's revolutionary three measurenement bra size calculator will accept measurements in either inches or centimeters. Your measurements can be whole numbers - e.g. 72, 89 and 78, or to one decimal place - e.g. 28.1, 33.9 and 31.2.

Once you have taken your measurements, simply enter them in the appropriate fields and click on Calculate. Your bra size will then be displayed in American, British, European, Japanese, Australian, New Zealand and Belgian, Spanish, French and Portuguese bra sizes.

Measuring your Bra Size

When measuring to determine your bra size you should, if possible, wear a comfortable standard underwired bra (not padded or push-up, etc.) You should remain in a standing position, keep your back and shoulders comfortably straight (don't hold your breath or push your chest out). Be relaxed. It can be difficult to measure yourself so you may have to ask a friend to help you, this will enable you to stand in the perfect position for measuring and allow you to keep your arms down by your sides.

1 - Measure below your breasts (band size)

Use a soft tape measure. To obtain your band size measurement, measure very snugly around your rib cage, just underneath your breasts. It should feel tight. Be sure that the tape measure lies straight all the way around. Enter this figure in the pink Below field (1). This measurement can be in inches or centimeters.

2 - Measure around your breasts and back (bust size)

Measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust (usually over the nipples), keeping the tape measure straight all the way around your body. Enter this figure in the blue Bust field (2). This measurement can be in inches or centimeters but must be the same as in step 1.

3 - Measure above your breasts (above bust size)

Measure snugly around your rib cage above your breasts and under your arms kepping the tape measure level all the way around. Enter this figure in the green Above field (3). This measurement can be in inches or centimeters but must be the same as in steps 1 & 2. note: This third measurement is optional. If you leave this field empty, your bra size will be calculated using only the first two measurements, however, in order to obtain the most accurate results you are recomended to use all three measurements.

4 - Calculate your bra size

Click on Calculate and your international bra sizes will be calculated and displayed in the relevant fields.

Help with bra sizing. Tried several calculators, all gave different sizes.?

Q. Ok, Ive been wearing a 40c bra but I know for sure it isn't the right size for me. Its tight, rides up the back and doesn't support at all. All the measurements ive taken and entered into bra calculators give me A, DD, and E cup sizes. Theres something not right about that. I haven't been able to go to a bra fitting yet. I would rather figure it out on my own but im not sure if im measuring correctly. Ive researched alot online and still cant get accurate bra size. Anyone else have similar situation? Thanks

Answer
If it rides up in the back, that means your band size is too large and if it also feels tight that means you probably need a larger cup size.

Buying a nursing bra?

risingsun8

i am 8 months pregnant how much bigger will my boobs get when the milk comes in?
i would like a actual bra and not a sports bra. i need the extra support.

Answer
I got my nursing bra's at JC Penny's. I bought one cup size bigger than my normal size and it fit perfectly. Sometimes people don't get too much bigger at all when they milk comes in and other times they can go up 2 or 3 sizes bigger. I would just buy maybe one bra and then after your milk comes in go and buy a couple more. I know with me, my milk didn't come in until 3 days after I gave birth so I could still wear my normal bra. So if you think you might feel like it then just go shopping after you have your baby and buy your bras then. When I was in the hospital I just didn't even wear a bra. While trying to breast feed you don't want to have to full with the bra being in the way. My nursing bra I had to tuck the flap down under the bottom of the bra just to keep it out of the way. Also you don't want to buy too many nursing bra's because there is always the chance you can't nurse for some reason and then you spent money on bra's you could have had for something else. That happened to me. Good luck and congrats.

Rec. your nursing bra?

alaskajama

Of course I am looking for easy access, comfort- not too worried about the cost- but nothing outrageous.

I just know that now that you have tried different brands now that you are in the nursing stage it's much different than being pregnant and not knowing if it would work out or not. Make sense?

I have heard that motherwear.com sells good ones.

Answer
The $16 Nursing Bra From Motherhood has been my best nursing bra....by far.

The only drawback....is it's very very thin...so it's really comfortable...but if you are modest...at all...you'll need to use a nursing pad, or an insert or something because your nipples will be visable from across town.

Other than that...it's a cheap bra, it comes in the standard black white or nude, and it is so comfortable I've been living in it morning noon and night for a year and a half.

I tried several, before I got to this one and it has been the best one yet.

Good Luck

That link above is for the $16 bra...but I've just seen that they have aquite a few more styles to choose from...more than when I was originally shopping...so those may be worth a look too...But for sure the $16 bra...is a great buy and an excellent product..

Good compression sports bras?

Q. I am 13 years old and I am a gymnast. I am realizing that my boobs are starting to get kinda big. I am guessing I am around an A or B cup, but I don't wear cup bras. Everyone at my gym (even without boobs) wears the Nike Pro Compression Sports bra which I own in multiple colors, but I am looking for a bra that REALLY presses down your boobs. Also in my Nike Pro Bra I am a size Large in kids if that helps...I want my boobs to look pretty flat...almost like I don't have any! (And please don't tell me to embrace them! They are taking away from my confidence and I need to be confident to do well!)

Answer
You could try wearing two sports bras at once.

Any Advice For Bra Shopping?

Cruze

I'm a guy with gynecomastia, which means I have breasts. I wear a sports bra for support. The compression vests are too constrictive around my stomach area. It's obvious that I have breasts but my nipples can get really pointy (even in hot weather) and still poke through my sports bra even while wearing sweat shirts. I always see people looking down at my chest and when I see that, I think my nips are sticking out and sure enough they are. Sorry to ramble, but I am serious. I want to get a bra but there are different style. What style kind of bra would be best for me? If I measured correctly I am A 40B.
Oh, I have already tried nipple stickers.
Thank you to everyone who can help me!

Answer
Well, bras with a little more padding in them are best for helping to conceal nipples, but since you're guy, I'm guessing you don't want your breasts looking any bigger. What kind of sports bras have you been wearing at this point? Some of them aren't very supportive, but there are kinds that are heavy duty and are more supportive for running and "high impact" activities like that. Something like that would probably be the best. Most bras besides sports bras are going to either lift and seperate, push up, or make your breasts look rounder and fuller in shape...sports bras are better at smashing things down and holding them in place. You'll want something with some sturdiness to it...it's VERY hard to hide your nips when you're wearing a bra made out of regular, thin fabric. I have one like the Champion one I've posted a link to below and I like it as far as sports bras go. It's supportive and doesn't show nipples lol. You might want to search for "high impact sports bras."

Also, just to save you some frustration, a 40 band size tends to be hard to find, I think. While plenty of people do wear those sizes, most stores only go up to 38...so, you might be able to find that size, but if you can't there's a thing called a "sister size" that you can also use if you can't find the one you need. I believe your sister size would be a 38C (don't worry about the size tag, just the fit though...you can always cut off the tags! Some people seem resistant to wearing certain sizes, but the fit is really what matters, not the size). Depending what brand of bra you go with, they may just come in sizes like M, L, XL, etc. rather than bra sizes...not all sports bras use standard sizing.

Are you confused and overwhelmed yet? Hope this helps :)

Boobs are sore when taking off bra?

Q. I have small boobs and lately for some reason when I put on and take off my bra they're super sore and they hurt and they're super sensitive. Ahh they hurt btw i'm 15 why do they hurt so bad

Answer
It may be that your bra is digging in a bit and causing some minor damage. You may not feel this while wearing the bra because the bra is forcing the blood out of the area where it is digging in — the pain comes on when the bra is removed and the blood flow returns.

If you see any red marks where the edges of the bra were that could be a sign. Maybe you need a better fitting bra. It may also be best if you take a break from wearing a bra whenever you can, like when just relaxing at home. You should definitely avoid wearing one in bed.

What is my bra size????

Q. At the moment I'm wearing 36 c by my cups are slightly too small.

I'm 36 inches around (over my chest and around my back), each individual boob is 11inches from the left of the boob to the right, and each individual boob is 20inches round. From the side of one boob to the other is 22 inches (over the boobs) and my back is 15inches.

So what is my bra size with these measurements? It will be very helpful to know so I can buy the right sized bra.

Also, am I big (don't have to answer this but information before is a must to answer)
Bust: 36inches
Under bust: 30inches

I'm in Australia

Thanks :)

Answer
Hey,

The two measurements we need to answer are around your body directly under your bust, and around your body over the fullest part of your bust.

Also need to know what country you're in since bras are measured different ways in different places, and it would be helpful to know how you find the fit of the 36C, both in terms of how you fit into the cups, and how the band fits around your body.

I know you put a lot of effort into providing measurements there so I'm sorry to have to say "don't know yet..." full marks for trying though! :)

EDITED TO ADD: Okay! Well, you don't mention that your band is too loose, but if you're only 30 inches around your body under your boobs a 36 band sounds way too big. You do say the cup is a little small, so I would suggest you try a 34D, that would seem the logical next move and would be your correct UK size. I think in Aus that's a 12D, but I may be wrong... I can't say I've bought many bras in Aus!

Unless you're miles from the nearest store do try them on before you buy - any measured size is only a guide, and there's no substitute for trying them on.

Oh, and I wouldn't say that's 'big', but it's certainly a good size - on the large side of medium - perfection in fact. Happy shopping! :)

What is my bra size?

Q. around the part below my breasts it is 26 inches around and around my breasts its 31 inches around.
I know that its bigger than an A because from what I know your nipple shouldn't be almost spilling out of the cup. but according to bra size finders i'm a 32 A.. and thats not right because I cant even get my boobs into a 32 A.
thanks for the help. i got measured and am a 30 D.

Answer
Rather than be crude... or make foolish guesses, you might want to simply go to the women's department of a nice store (Neimann Marcus, Victoria Secret, etc) and ask for help in sizing yourself... then you can try on a few bras to see how they fit... and voila!!! you will know what size you are and know that it fits the way it is supposed to fit.

Hope this helps. Peace

How can a friend see my post on another friend under my recent activity?

immamapler

For example if a friend of mine goes to my wall they should see my comment on another friends wall.
Ex: Under 'Recent Activity'
"Blah Blah Blah" on Michelle's wall.

A buddy of mine is having trouble seeing my posts on other friends on my own page/wall.

Like I said he can't see my post on Michelle's wall under my recent activity.

I found out it has to do with privacy, does anyone know which privacy option is it specifically?

Is it my friends?

Thoughts?

Answer
ALL your friends see EVERYTHING on your wall. To stop 'outsiders' from looking, change 'who can see my wall' to friends only.
Hope I helped, question wasn't too clear.

How do I prevent my Facebook friends from knowing one of my Facebook friends?

Q. A friend of my Ex wants to be my Facebook friend. If I accept him, everybody on my friend list will know and they may boycott him. So, is there a way to accept him as a friend on Facebook without letting the rest of the people on my friend list know about that? In other words, if I accept "A" as a friend, is there a way to prevent B, C, D, E, F, etc on my friend list know about the existence of "A" as my Facebook friend?

Post-breastfeeding bra?

DED

I'm about to finish breastfeeding my second child. I need to get rid of my nursing bras and replace them with comfortable, supportive, but sexy new bras.

I'm between a C and a D.

The problem is, as some of you may know, that after breastfeeding, the "girls" aren't as perky as they used to be, so I also need something with lift.

Any suggestions??

(I've already looked at Curvation)

Answer
W A CO A L bras are sexy, supportive, and high quality. I'm a DD and the Wacoal bras are great for getting the girls back up there. I know there are just load of Victoria's Secret fans out there, but anything over a C cup and you're not going to find their stuff is engineered properly. They're okay for smaller cup sizes, but bigger cups need the quality support of a Wacoal bra. At least go try on a Wacoal, you'll be amazed.
I've worn Olga, Bali, Victoria's Secret, Playtex, you name it and they all pale in comparison to the Wacoal. (Oprah gave their bras to her audience.)

Look at this store locator:http://www.wacoal-america.com/

Does Victoria's Secret have the most comfortable bras, if not, what store does?

y/a

I tried Gap Body, Bloomingdale, Herberger's, Walmart, and Kmart. A lot of the bras are pretty, but they're usually very uncomfortable. Do you think I'll have a better chance at Victoria's Secret?

I don't care how much it costs, just looking for something really comfortable and washable in the machine. Most bras are tight around my back and sides even though i got the right measurement.

Answer
Wacoal bras are very comfy high quality, get them at Macy's or Nordstom. You need a fitting to be sure you get the right size in a Wacoal bra- they run different than all the others. If it's not the right fit it will feel awful. My Wacoals feel so good I have actually forgotten I was wearing a bra...how often does that happen?
