I am 7 1/2 mo. pregnant fairly petite, am having a hell of a time "keeping UP" with the bra department. Suggestions? I have gone from 32A-36B need a new bra already! 38B? Thanks.

You can get the strap extenders to make more use out of your current bras. You could consider getting nursing bras at this point if you plan to breastfeed. You should get fitted at a maternity store, but the lady told me to get a bra that fits on the tightest hook now, and a cup size that gives you a little room to grow, but isn't too loose. You usually go up a cup size when your milk comes in. A 38C nursing bra should do.

I'm sure you'd be fine wearing a regular nursing bra, I bought these sleeping ones from Motherhood Maternity that I love. I wear them during the day since I'm at home anyways, they're more comfy then ones with the underwires.

I have a basketball practice in the morning and I need to wear a sports bra for it because a normal Bra really wont due well. After practice I have to change in the school change room with a bunch of other girls, And since it's all grade 10's,11's and grade 12's I really don't want to flash someone! So I would really like to know if there is some sort of trick to taking off a sports bra, and changing into a regular bra in a crowded change room

I would say...if yall have like sectioned off parts...have one of your friends....hold a towel or a t-shirt to cover you and you just turn around and face the other way to take it off so all she sees is your back.

I'm 19 and I'm a 38FF as of last year. I'm pretty sure I've grown as my bras have all either ripped in the middle or the back. my bra doesn't even touch my chest underneath my breasts anymore. they're very heavy and uncomfortable so I need support as well but I don't want an ugly bra. While nothing beats trying on bras, it might be hard to find something in your size to try on and it's hard to find a place that measures correctly. Mainstream stores like Victoria's Secret, La Senza, etc. are terrible at fitting and they carry an extremely narrow range of sizes.

If they told you your bra size is wrong then it is definitely wrong because they add four to five inches to the band measurement to tell you your bra size. Bra materials stretch now so adding anything to the band measurement makes it in accurate. You need to get bigger cups because you could be constricting your breasts far too much... and always fit your bra to your bigger breast.

When the breast tissue is constricted or it is not supported then the tissue migrates, when you find your right bra size the tissue will slowly return to normal as long as you don't sleep in your bra and you keep up with the scooping method, you will most likely have to change your bra size multiple times in a year as the tissue becomes concentrated in one area again, you will probably have to continue going down band sizes and up cup sizes, fair warning but it is so worth it because it makes you feel great when you look in the mirror and everything is where it should be.

Every woman's body is different so there is no one bra that will fit you the best.

First verify your bra size, if you don't know your measurements then here is how to take them:
find a soft tape measure in inches
take off everything and stand up
use a mirror and stand sideways to it so you can see your profile
measure directly below the bust around the rib cage with the tape measure parallel to the floor make sure that the tape measure is tight but not pinching your skin
this is your band size, don't add anything to it or take anything away, if it is a 38 you are a 38 if it is a 37 I would try a 36 first but you may be a 38, if it is a 36 you are a 36, anything in decimal form then round down, trust me on that one, bra materials stretch a lot
Now write down your band size
for the cup size lean forward so that all of your breast tissue is to the front of your body
measure the same way as for the band with the tape measure parallel to the floor if you stand up but make sure you do this leaning over and measure it across the part of your breasts that 'hang' down the farthest when you are leaning over
while still leaning over record this measurement, it should not be tight, in fact it should be loose just resting the tape measure on your tissue and not compressing it anywhere
this is your bust circumference. Subtract your band size from this number
the number you just calculated is your cup size for that band size, round normally to the closest whole number. one inch difference is A, 2-B, 3-C, 4-D, 5-DD, 6-E, 7-F, 8-FF, 9-G, 10-GG etc.

Does the band ride up or are the hooks are easily placed on their tightest setting, if so go down a band size and up a cup size until they don't.

Do the straps dig into your shoulders? If they do then loosen them, if they are supporting your breasts then go down a band size and up a cup size until you could go without the straps.

Look for straps that are thick so that they don't dig into your flesh as much.

If you stand in profile to the mirror the fullest part of your bust should be about half way between your shoulder and your elbow.If higher then loosen your shoulder straps, if lower then tighten them or get a smaller band and bigger cup if it just slips down.

If your cups overflow or the cups dig into your breast tissue go up a cup size. If your brest tissue falls our the sides of the cup under your arms or the under wire rests on brest tissue then go up cup sizes until this doesn't occur. You may have to go down band sizes after this if the band no longer rests on the tissue.

If you stand tall with good posture then you should not have bulges or gaping, if there is gaping then go down a cup size, if there is bulging then go up a cup size. Bra's fit you when you have good posture, so if you don't want gaping then practice your posture.

Keep in mind the number and letter don't matter as long as your Brest's look good and you feel supported, go to a store and try on as many bra types and styles as possible in your size (it won't be the same size in every bra so be prepared to go through the above process with every bra that you try on) remember if you go up a band then you go down a cup and if you go down a band then go up a cup because the cup size is all relative to the ratio of rib cage circumference to brest tissue.

Note that back bulge or fat that looks like it is a result of a too tight band is usually a result of a too loose band that is riding up the back and forcing the tissue to ride up so try going down band sizes before you go up. oh and normal bra stores may not have the right sizes so go to a professional specialty store the first time to find your proper bra size.

Bra sizes go from AA to L and since most women wear the wrong bra size, majority of people don't even know what actual A/B/C/D cups look like. So asking for A-D is extremely limiting.

Also, letter means absolutely nothing without the number. A 36C is 2 cup sizes bigger than a 30D because the band is bigger.

you can still catch a Pikachu in Leaf Green, they're just hard to find.
And all the additions also make it better.
Also, in Leaf Green, after you get the National Dex, some Johto pokemon are available, so it has a lot more Pokemon in it than Yellow does.

I'm really small on top, so I wear a pushup bra every day just to look like I'm an A. But in the middle of sixth grade I went to nordstrom to get measured and get a bra recommendation. I have really small boobs... what's the best pushup bra out there?? I have a Wonderbra right now but it's two years old and I need a new good bra. I need something that's a good shape with a lot of push-up.

Instead of a push-up bra, I'd recommend these things called Breast Enhancers. They look kinda like breast implants and they are made out of silicone. Victoria's Secret carries them but they are super expensive there. I found them in this catalog called Harriet Carter or www.harrietcarter.com . It's item # E(or F)5504 and they are called Breast Enhancers. They increase your bra cup size by 1 1/2 -2 cup sizes. They are only $19.99 plus shipping and handling (roughly $26) and they fit in any bra. They really adhere to your skin well so you don't have to worry about them falling out (though I wouldn't do sports with them). Experiment with different bras. You'd probably want to get a "C" cup with them and don't get a padded bra when you wear them or it'll look way too obvious. I like them 'cause they look very natural (they even have nipples incase you wear a sheerer type bra and top) and if a guy cops a feel (lol!), he won't be grabbing a bunch of padding. Seriously though, TONS of women wear them. We call them "cutlets". If you don't want to go that route though and prefer a good push-up bra, I'd recommend Victoria's Secret Infinity Edge bras that are filled with gel or the newest push-up bra that has air pockets instead of padding or gel. It's called The Angels Air Push-Up bra. I'd get the Strapless convertible that you can wear a zillion ways. Another one of my favorites is the Very Sexy Low-cut strapless convertible with the Infinity Edge that comes with the cool clear straps. Keep in mind that these bras are atleast $45! You can get good push-up bras just about anywhere now. I noticed that T.J. Maxx has tons of name brand padded and push-up bras especially in "A" cups. Some are normally like $60 bras and they are only like $8 there! Target has some cool push-ups too. You definitely need a good bra after two years though! I recommend replacing bras every year especially if you wear them atleast several times a year. And make sure you take good care of them. ALWAYS wash them in Woolite. The washing machine really ruins them and the dryer is even worse! I'm going to suggest something else and don't get upset because I did it. Have you considered implants? Well, if you are under 18, don't think about it until you are atleast 18. They are really affordable now and you can make payments. I got mine 'cause my boobs were different sizes. One was a large "A" and the other a large "B". I'm now a large "C" or a small "D". I still wear padded bras or enhancers though 'cause I still want bigger breasts! It's sad but our society just keeps telling us that you have to have big boobs to be sexy, don't they? You know what? I take that back! Don't get implants! I mean, unless you are totally miserable and it'd improve your self-esteem tremendously. I guess surveys had shown that men prefer real boobs but if that's true, why are they drooling over girls with fake boobs like in Playboy, right? It's a big decision. There are pros and cons. If you ever decide to do it, really research! Find a doctor that is fully certified and ask to speak to some of his patients (they do that!) and see before and after photos. Check with the Board to make sure that he/she is ceritfied. If you have any doubts, don't do it. On the otherhand, I think small boobs can be really cute and I have met guys that like boobs in all sizes and shapes. Plus, you can wear cute string bikinis, I can't, I fall out of them! Well it depends on what sort of clothing you're wearing with the bra...I personally understand you because I'm a 34D..sometimes DD...usually when I wear a top that has a plunge to the bosom...i wear a normal D cup that still gives ample support...instead of a push up...but if you decide to where a top that say a button up shirt...or doesn't have a deep plunge then definitely wear a push up...but make sure your breast fills it up and doesn't show that sort of jiggle...I always wear vest or tank tops with all my tops because it brings a smoothness...especially with shirts or jerseys...Hope this helps

Hm, Girl question i guess?! About Bras and that sort!?

Alright, I'm thirteen, I usually stick with one bra because usually some are more comfortable then others. I went from 36B and 34C? but i have a wider chest cage whatever thing. I'm a bit over weight but very tall for my age. I'm well into puberty and periods and all that stuff! But i have to wear a well padded push-up bra or i have horrible back pains. so i have a couple questions!

1. I can switch between those two sizes, so how do i exactly know my size?
2. Will my breasts develop more?
3. Is it bad or will it effect that i have to wear those kinds of bras even when i sleep with no bra on?
4. I sometimes have stretch marks on them, but they go away?
5. How do i tell if its fat or like the boob fat? lol weird question but does it even matter?

2. believe it or not, many girls think boob development is different. than why do women have differen sizes? ever seen a super skinny women with LARGE boobs, its called fat storage. each girl/woman has a different fat storage in thier body, thier butts,thighs,stomach,boobs etc. now WHERE you have it depends on heritity so if your mom has big boobs you most likely will have the same fat storage.

That's going to be hard to find- Most women with DD cups want more support than a backless bra can give, so many retailers don't bother stocking them since there isn't much demand. If support is what you're looking for, a backless bra really isn't going to give you as much as you want. I'm a D and I tried a backless bra once and I really wasn't that comfortable.

Also can you have bra cups built into your dress by a seamstress or alterations department? That might be your best bet.

I have this pretty new backless dress, which although it can be worn without a bra, like most girls, I'd be more comfortable with one. The problem is that I'm a bit top heavy (DD) and they don't make the sticky cup bras in that size - only up to a D.

Thankfully I've not experienced this first hand(!), but my ex is a 34F and like the previous answerer found the stick-on bras absolutely hopeless!

We bought one once, like you to wear with a backless dress. It was good for 20 minutes of comedy value while we tried to make the damned thing do something useful, but beyond that it was of no earthly use whatsoever - save your pennies!

Again to support (no pun intended) the previous answer, we quickly abandonned the stick-on joke and she wore the dress without a bra, and looked wonderful. I would encourage you to be brave and do the same. You could certainly get some 'pasties' to cover up any nipple show-through if that worries you (which personally I don't think it should, but I know in America posession of nipples is a crime... ;) - you'll be fine and you'll look amazing.

I hate to sound all feeble-minded and guy-like but backless dresses are almost always stunning, and let's be honest - they're saying "I'm not wearing a bra", it's part of their charm! Wear it with a big smile instead of a stick-on nuisance, remember you look fab, and enjoy your curvy goodness! Stay smiley! :)

Okay, the numbers don't have anything to do with the cup size, it's the straps. So don't worry about "having a huge cup size".

LOL, when I got my first real bra I was about 11 in a 34a. Within about a year I went from that to a 34c. I was soo embarrassed because all the girls where still flat chested and guys looked at me funny. But now I'm over it. But I still won't wear a polo shirt. :] What I'm trying to say, you won't be very comfortable at first, but you'll learn to accept it. I hated wearing them, but in a few months time, I hated not wearing them.

I know bra shopping can be very frustrating. I hate it too. You are definitely not alone on that.

Types of bras you own: I usually wear full-cup bras with under wires. No padding or anything fancy. Just solid colors. I wear sports bras sometimes too, but only when I just feel like wearing a t-shirt and jeans around or I have to do physical activity. I have some sexy bras too, but they're only worn on special occasions.
What is the best kind of bra to wear? Something comfortable and well-made. You don't want to buy something cheaply made because it will come apart easily and the under wire will start poking you. I think comfort is more important than how the bra looks, personally.

sports bras are meant to prevent excessive bouncing during heavy activity. However as you probily noticed sports bras are not sized like cup bras. Sports bras are just sized based on your width, while cup bras are sized based on width and size of boobs. It seems like you are wearing a sports bra to do a training bras purpose. So to answer your question as long as your width doesnt increase your boobs cannot outgrow a sports bra. However if your boobs are big enough to fill an A cup, you should start wearing cup bras on a day-day basis. And since a sports bra kinda smothers your boobs to prevent bouncing, when you transfer to cup bras it really will look like your boobs grew overnight, And people including yourself will just have to deal with the fact that you actually have boobs

I own about 5 bras....like 2 are just plain white, and the others are colors or patterns or such. I usually don't go shopping for bras unless the ones that I have break, or I grow out of them. Finally, I usually wash my bras about once a week, because the older they get the more dirty they seem to get, and faster. Hope I helped(:

its better to use them if you have small cleavage and you want to make it look like more.
i just wear it because its comfortable, and that's what I look for in a bra.
Try Victoria's Secret bras, they are the best I personally believe- but everyone has different opinions.
If it helps i'm only 16 and a 32 B bra and its pushes my boobs to make them bigger just watch out when you wear v-necks lol because I always tend to have too much that i wear a tank top under the v-neck.

Listen bra, if you're going to go cougar hunting, you best learn some things - First, this one wants to get laid, nothing more. I am so sick of spending 10-20 bucks on a bra, but it always ends up being a POS. The wires come through and once it goes through the washer and dryer a few times it starts fitting like crap. I'm looking to not spend more then 25 on a bra without some convincing haha. Also, I'm a 32C so if you know of some places that carry that size that would be great cause not all places do. And don't suggest Victoria's secret. I know they have sales and whatnot but it's still too expensive even on sale, and out of the three that I have bought they still give me issues.

Idk how you could find a bra for cheaper than that and if you did it would not be good quality.
Here's some places with good quality bras:
Kohl's: $25 and up. Check out the clearance rack for bras $15 and under.
Target: $10 and up. Love their bras! They have some really pretty ones. I got a great quality pushup, it's satiny feeling and lacy and was on sale for $15. I also found a great criss-cross back one for only $6 on clearance. You have to dig around the clearance to find good ones.
Aerie: It's by American Eagle. They are usually $20 and up but they are always having awesome sales.
Places like Macy's & J.C. Penny's have good ones too but they are always $25 and up.

** Aerie also has an abundance of 32Cs. I am a 32C too. They are actually really cute too.

Rather than examine what makes a bra sexy, let's look instead to how Japan seems to have a different measurement for its bras.

First off... having a large number in the chest measurement department isn't nearly as important as the actual cup size.

Being smaller in stature, a woman with a 32 D chest looks larger than someone who is a 44 B.

The number represents the measurement around the chest, the cup measures the breast. Got it? Good. I know I am simplifying things...

Now... in Japan, even though they measure in metric (using centimeters) versus the classic Imperial measurement in inches - no big deal... just convert - the Japanese have a slightly different measurement in cup sizes.

I saw a photo of a Japanese AV (adult video) star implying she had an F cup. Really? It looked like a D maybe.

I suppose it could because they are inflating their charms to add to their charm, but I've discovered there is a less nefarious reason.

Now... I'm actually pretty good a picking out cup sizes. It's a gift that becomes more and more useless as I get older, but I still know what it is I am looking at and hoping to grope.

But here's the thing. Japanese cup sizes are smaller than their western counterparts.

From what I have learned, there is only supposed to be a one cup difference... but it's not. It's more than that.

A Japanese D-cup should be a western C... but in reality it might be a B or a B+.

Why the discrepancy? The numbers were altered to match the population... perhaps to better feed the ego. It's one of those reasons why I think all women's clothing is in a completely alien sizing range, with super models being a size 0, and the average woman being - I don't know, an 8... whatever... I haven't figured that out.

So... in Japan... the average cup size is a B+ to C if we are talking in western terms.

In Japan, women tend to push a bit more flesh into the bra to make it look like it's bigger. I read that somewhere.

Western women will just get a bra that fits, more or less, the actual breast size. Obviously, the more flesh you have (IE, if you are a bit more heavy-set), the more flesh you can squish into the cup.

So.. a 70-centimeter chest with a D-cup in Japan is really a 32-inch chest with a C-cup... and it might actually be a 32-B+ if she wore a bra without trying to stuff extra flesh into it (to wear it in a manner more similar to their western counterparts) .

So... yes... Japanese women have a different sizing for bras AND, they wear their bra in a different manner from the west.

In Japan - once there, I knew what it was I was getting into. I had always jokingly described my ideal woman as an Asian redhead with big tits and that I had always found two out of three while in Japan.

But... I never played that way. I had numerous girlfriends with what I would describe in westernized measurements as B+ cup sized... some as an A+, a few Cs and one or two D's and definitely one DD.

But whatever. They would tell me they were an F-Cup, and I would just laugh inside my head, thinking that they don't think I'm smart enough to know the truth... like I even cared.

However, it turns out they were telling the truth and I really wasn't smart enough to know the difference.

Now we all know. Don't make the same mistake I did. Not that I made a mistake. I used to nod and smile and thropw the damn bra across the bedroom to sit in a crumpled mass in the corner of the tatami mats.

Okay... all this talk of breasts has made me... breathy... that's not the right word, but I didn't want to write down the word 'horny'.

I am 13 years old and I am a gymnast. I am realizing that my boobs are starting to get kinda big. I am guessing I am around an A or B cup, but I don't wear cup bras. Everyone at my gym (even without boobs) wears the Nike Pro Compression Sports bra which I own in multiple colors, but I am looking for a bra that REALLY presses down your boobs. I'm a guy with gynecomastia, which means I have breasts. I wear a sports bra for support. The compression vests are too constrictive around my stomach area. It's obvious that I have breasts but my nipples can get really pointy (even in hot weather) and still poke through my sports bra even while wearing sweat shirts. I always see people looking down at my chest and when I see that, I think my nips are sticking out and sure enough they are. Sorry to ramble, but I am serious. I want to get a bra but there are different style. What style kind of bra would be best for me? If I measured correctly I am A 40B.

Well, bras with a little more padding in them are best for helping to conceal nipples, but since you're guy, I'm guessing you don't want your breasts looking any bigger. What kind of sports bras have you been wearing at this point? Some of them aren't very supportive, but there are kinds that are heavy duty and are more supportive for running and "high impact" activities like that. Something like that would probably be the best. Most bras besides sports bras are going to either lift and seperate, push up, or make your breasts look rounder and fuller in shape...sports bras are better at smashing things down and holding them in place. You'll want something with some sturdiness to it...it's VERY hard to hide your nips when you're wearing a bra made out of regular, thin fabric. I have one like the Champion one I've posted a link to below and I like it as far as sports bras go. It's supportive and doesn't show nipples lol. You might want to search for "high impact sports bras."

Also, just to save you some frustration, a 40 band size tends to be hard to find, I think. While plenty of people do wear those sizes, most stores only go up to 38...so, you might be able to find that size, but if you can't there's a thing called a "sister size" that you can also use if you can't find the one you need. I believe your sister size would be a 38C (don't worry about the size tag, just the fit though...you can always cut off the tags! Some people seem resistant to wearing certain sizes, but the fit is really what matters, not the size). Depending what brand of bra you go with, they may just come in sizes like M, L, XL, etc. rather than bra sizes...not all sports bras use standard sizing.

does this bra fit correctly?

So, i was told I'm a 32 C, but my boobs bulge out a little. Im not sure if it fit correctly or not. I tried a 32 D, and it covers my breast much more nicely, but the one thing i don't get it the middle of the bra, in between my two boobs, isn't flat against my skin. But it fits well, on my breast, and the band size doesn't ride up and feels comfortable. I know a larger size would leave excess baggage, so i know it would be too big. So I'm a little confused. Also, this bra gives me nice cleavage. just adding. Why is the middle not flat? I've heard its a sign of an ill fitting bra.

The bra does not fit. A well fitted bra should lay flat in the middle, not bulge on the sides or top and the straps should not slide around. Get fitted at a specialty store to be sure. If you don't feel comfortable in a 32C but that should be your size, the problem may be the bra style. Try a different style. Or you could go down a cup size and up a band size. (34B) It might fit better. Sounds like it would be smaller, but it's actually the same size.

Bras strech all the time, so when your buying one make sure it fits you on the losest hook at the back so you can tighten it as your problem begins also en ensure that there is room to make the straps tighter, this will help you maintain its perfect fit. (These straps should be adjusted after you eash your bras as they often losen)
Signs that show you your bra is not fitting correctly:
-back of bra riding up your back = straps too tight.
-any loseness of the cup = need a smaller cup
-any bulges and the side of top of the cup = need a bigger cup

As far as wireless maternity bras go, pretty much any soft, cotton bra you usually like to wear, you can wear when you're pregnant, just adjust the size to fit as your body grows. Now nursing bras on the other hand are another story all together. I really like Elle Macpherson's 'La Mere' nursing bra, and Bravado makes a great sports type bra. A great 'lift and seperate' bra without an underwire is the Condessa bra, very chic and retro, and way cute. I've included links to all the bras listed.

My truck is a 1997 Silverado, it's leaking a green/yellow liquid in the front, and back of the car. It's the same liquid. There has been some problems in the brakes, and we've recently put brake fluid in. We also put in some steering fluid.

The green liquid is possibly coolant. I'd suggest checking your coolant levels ASAP. If it's more yellow-ish it may very well be brake fluid (especially if it's coming out of both ends of the vehicle), so I'd check that as well (especially since you've had problems with your brakes recently). If you do find out it's brake fluid I'd suggest cleaning it up ASAP since it eats through paint and taking your truck to a mechanic to get it properly diagnosed since brake issues are understandably dangerous.

It's probably not power steering fluid since that's red.

im not plus size but i have a couple friends who are and they always come to me for fashion advice so i hope i can help.

Lane Bryant has some really cute stuff as of late. like, theres a few things there im jelous im not big enough to fit in, so be sure to give them a shot.

Torrid is like, my favorite plus size store ever because they carry all sorts of funky modern stuff, cool rocker stuff, and some really chic stuff if you need to dress up for things.

not everything in the plus size sections at department stores is terrible either, so if your in Kohls or something and the first thing you see is some horrid plaid dress that looks like it was maid from a picnic blanket, dont give up hope. my mother is plus sized and she does most of her shopping at kohls and she is way way fashion forward for her age.

idk where they all have locations but i know there is a plus size type store called CJ banks that has some nice stuff too. they are really good if you need work type clothes.

hope i helped, and i hope you find some really cute clothes! they are out there. i think its kind of insulting how many unflattering clothes there are for plus size people out there. dont get discouraged if you dont find stuff right away, NO ONE ever finds exactly what they are looking for on the first shot

There are lots of excellent plus size costumes available. Good ones to give you curves are plus size costumes with bodices or have a wide belt such as princesses, pirate wenches or gypsy fortune tellers.

If you want something a little more sexy why not go for Vampiresses, Devil Vixen or a Fallen Angel, looks great with ripped fishnets,tattered wings and a wonky halo! :0)

Fairies and fairytale characters seem to be popular this year, Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Queen of Hearts, woodland fairies etc.

For TV and movie characters there is I Love Lucy, Tracy Turnblad, Batgirl,(wear with leggings if you don't want to show off your legs too much), Dorothy from Oz, Betty Boop,(slinky red dress that you can wear again, plus wig and a garter...voila!)

There is no 33 size and neither do the different cup sizes of 32 and 34 make a difference. what to do?

have you tried the elastic extenders for the strap that goes around your back? it comes with 3-4 extra hook and loop attachers. you can buy them for a couple of bucks each in the arts and crafts stores (hobby lobby, etc)
also, make sure you are trying out different brands, b/c most brands differ in their sizes.
