Why do women need to wear bras? I know they're for support etc etc but even women with very small bust wear bras? I have a very big chest and bras are such a pain, i was just wondering whether the really do 'work'
Thanks :)
Answer
To begin there's not an exact law that women should or should not wear bras in the first place. They are mainly for support like you said, and often women with large bust's can get back pain if they do not wear a decent bra. Also young girls in puberty may get a bust that may sag if they don't wear a bra as it will help during their development. A lot of women with a smaller bust also wear padded and push up bras to make their bust look bigger!

Women: Bra Problems?

Cookie Mon
I have a problem with my bra: I wear a 36B (the size that the store told me I was), but it seems that my boobs are spilling over the cup just a little, but when I lay down it seems like I have nothing in my bra! I have tried a size up, but it was too big. Also, the straps seem too long and sometimes fall down when I am laying down or bend forward. Sorry for going into so much detail but I have had these problems for awhile and it is really getting annoying. Any suggestions?

I would suggest going to a store where you can get custom fitted, like Dillards or Victoria's Secrets. They will be able to tell you why you're having so much trouble. I think it's Dillards that has an annual or semi-annual "bra festival" where women come to learn about different types of bras and get fitted.
Also, I don't know what type of bra you are wearing, but that may have to do with it. Try adjusting the straps and wearing a soft-cup bra (no wires).
