I noticed in some brands the size doesn't feel right and decided to try on a different size. Any other women have this issue when buying different brands for bras?
Answer
There are many brands that size differently. Some brands use US sizing, others UK sizing, etc. Also, there is no such thing as true to size. What may fit in one brand will not necessarily fit in another brand. That's why there is something called Sister Sizing. Check out this article:

For example: I am a 38DD bra size
When I wear Le Mystere Dream Tisha 9955 I have to wear a 40D because the band on this particular bra fits me very tight.

In another brand if the band on the 38DD fits me loose then I must wear a 36DDD in order to find my comfortable fit.
As you can see when the band changes, so does the cup to accomodate the size of the band. All these 3 sizes fit me the same way in the cup. The band either goes up or down in order to fit me properly.
Hope this helps.

Can You Recommend any bras/companies for bigger sizes?
Lou x
im a 36E and dont always feel like im being supported properly
the back tends to ride up and the straps seem to stretch
is there anywhere in the UK i can get a really good bra
that will support me and push me up a bit lol
but that is also pretty
i dont really mind how much is spent as long as its not ridiculous
hope you can help!!
p.s i dont want a reduction lol
just a nice bra!
Answer
If the band is riding up, it's too small. If the straps are digging in, the bra is probably too big in the band and too small in the cup. Do you have a Bravissimo near you? Check their website: http://bravissimo.com and use their store locator - they specialise in bigger bras. It sounds like you could be looking at more 34F/FF than 36E.
My advice is to get a fitting from there, then look elsewhere for bras. They're nice, but aimed at an older audience. I'm 16 and don't have all my bras from there (I'm a 28F, so the only place on the high street I can get bras is from Bravissimo. About 40% of my bras are 32DDs, which is the equivalent cup volume). They're also quite expensive, but see if there's anything you like.
